SpainToo many clients waiting for the room to be ready after check in time, cleanliness was conspicuous by its absence. The best thing is the design of the rooms and the location but deep cleaning is required as it seems they clean only the surfaces.

United StatesThere was construction going on adjacent to our room that we were not notified of before. From 8-5 everyday it was impossible to be in the room. It was torture waking up to sledge hammers every morning. In addition, we were over charged for three nights and only found out on the last night that we decided to stay extra to catch an early bus. We left feeling very cheated.

CuraçaoNo wifi in our room (you had to sit outside, 10m further to get reception). No amenities, not even cups. Upon asking the staff for some paper cups, the answer was: no, this is a hotel, not an apartment. Flakey shower. (All things that can easily fixed by investing a little.)
The location was perfect, the ambiance was nice, and everything looked great!

PolandIt was a terrible experience. In our room there have been running bugs (corcroaches). It was disgusting. For two days time there was only cold water. I was travelling with a baby and I couldn't wash him. I checked out earlier and moved to another hotel, but I did not get a refund. It was cold at night and I asked for a warmer blanket. I wasn't given any. I had to sleep in my clothes. By the way: when a receptionist was pouring me a water which was left to disposal of guests he accidentally poured it over a floor. He stopped me and asked me if I have anything to wipe it. I am not a priness, but it felt awkward when a receptionist asks a guest for material for cleaning.
I liked location of the hotel.

SwitzerlandWhen I arrived the guy at the check in was at the phone and only very unwillingly hung up to attend me. He asked what he could help me with and seemed disappointed when he heard I have a reservation. When I gave him my passport he first made fun of my name 3-4 times. He then told me I’d have to pay right away and told me the wrong amount. After I had successfully paid the right amount, he gave me someone else’s passport after he had already given me back my own passport. This behaviour during check in made me feel very unwelcome right from the start. I had the intention of staying a lot longer and I did - in another hotel. Apart from the unfriendliness of the receptionist, the facilities are run down. The toilet seat was too small for the toilet so you actually sat on the toilet itself.
The location was excellent, unfortunately this is the only good thing I can say about it.

United StatesWhen I arrived at the location I was told CASH only. No one told me that in advance. The beach is across the road--the road is busy and noisy with scooters and music coming out of everywhere. I think it's a good place for young people--not for 63 year old me--I would not have booked to stay there if I'd known I was going to be there on my own. I booked it because I thought it would be fun for my sons. But one son had to return to Canada early and the other stayed with his friends further along the beach. My biggest complaint is not knowing I would have to pay in cash on arrival. Luckily I had enough money with me--as no one likes to have a problem at check it after a long drive.
I had the deluxe room. I booked to stay with my two sons. So three of us--although I ended up staying there on my own. I was given two bath towels. No beach towels. The internet only works by the office.

Dominican RepublicA lot has changed from my previous visits. The facilities old and seemed abandoned. There were spider webs and ants all over the room. Pool was dirty and backyard completely forgotten in time. The food in the restaurant was basic and the staff didn't really cared we were there.
