Very good location and very good environment! The property was clean and the rooms are amazing! Haven’t been in such a good room since long ago :) The owner Caleb is so friendly and he’s always making sure you have all you need! Highly recommend this accommodation if you want to enjoy some days in a chill atmosphere

They were doing renovations to the main area so not all areas were not all usable. Definitely want to come back and see the upgrades to the place after the work is done

The mattress was not very comfortable, you could feel every spring. The room was facing the street with louder traffic during the day and there was a noisy construction site next to the bedroom window.

The hosts were lovely, very welcoming and caring, the garden and common area was beautiful. You feel home right away. The hotel was right next to the beach and very convenient location. The hosts installed a mosquito net around the bed for me.

In one of the rooms the wifi reception is not good, and it is rather humid.

The location was great, and the hosts Véronique and Michel are super nice. I had an issue with my room which was promptly solved. The rooms are basic but very comfortable. It was very nice chatting with Véronique during breakfast.

Two improvements could be the room was very dark even with all of the lights on and the bed was more like a large single than a double, great if there’s one person staying but as a couple we didn’t find it the most comfortable.

The location was perfect literally a 2 min walk from the bus station, less than a 5 min walk to the beach and restaurants within 5 mins too! Yet it was set back enough so you didn’t get any street noise. The hosts were super lovely and welcoming, Veronique was really helpful with giving us places to visit and see and telling us shortcuts to beautiful beaches!! The room itself is basic but comfortable, we loved that it had a small table and chairs by the window to play cards/games in the evening, no hot water in the shower but this seems very standard for the DR, shower pressure was good though! The mosquito net was a great touch very handy in LG for someone who seems attract alll the mosquitos!

Some seating other than straight-backed, kitchen-type chairs would have been nice, like a nice reading chair and side table. The stocking of the kitchenette could have been better- the only cooking utensils was a fish spatula, one pot, and a pan that I had to ask to be replaced because it was so burnt out.

I am a "no frills", low-maintenance traveler. If the shower works, the linen is clean, the bed is comfortable, and I can cook, I really don't require much else. This is what you can expect if you book. Veronique and Michel are lovely hosts. They were very responsive to the few requests I made, and gave me great advice on local places to check out. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

We got the economic double room, unfortunately it can be very hot, although just like everywhere else. The wifi does not reach the room, but the common areas yes.

We had some trouble getting accurate information about how to get to our next destination via bus. We managed in the end however the hosts weren't quite sure how to do this.

We loved the location and loved the views from the room out across Las Galeras. The room was well located within walking distance of the town centre, restaurants and places to hire bikes, snorkels and everything else.

The house is great but keep in mind that if you want to hire an excursion to Fronton, Madama o Rincón, DO NOT DO IT with TWO BOYS that are at the beach, they are called Louis (nickname: Rambo) or Georglin. Their specialty is to convince you to do the trip with them for certain amount of money that in the end changes. In my situation the police (politur)had to handle the situation because it was not fair, and they most of the time support the tourists, so don’t be afraid to ask for help. DO NOT PAY MORE THAN 2000 pesos for the three beaches. Talk to Juan or Alejandro at the beach next to the boats and they will for sure give you a good deal. I paid 1500 pesos for two beaches and we were only 3 in the boat. Don’t let them rip you off. Apart from that, nothing bad to say about my stay in Yes Papa!

I love this place! Lovely French owners that would do anything for you. I stayed in the 'panoramica' room with a 360 degree view of the town. There is a pretty garden to sit and there is good wifi if you have to do some work. Very close to the beach and a good value overall. I would definitely stay again the next time I am in Las Galeras. Perfect choice for solo travellers, do not expect much though, basic amenities, and you get what you pay for, location plus the owners helpfulness make this a great place to stay.

This beautiful Hostel is in the cutest village with really nice people, we always felt safe here. The beach is only 5 minutes walking away and there are a lot of good options to go out to eat only a few feet away! 😊We stayed here over a big hurricane and were really scared because we're not used to tropical storms. The really lovely owners always made us feel safe and helped us with everything we needed, after some time it really felt like coming home which made it so hard to leave. This was our favorite spot all over the Dominican Republic and we would always come back here!🌸🤍
