Great hotel always live staying there. Staff are great and the place is beautiful. Nice relaxing rooftop walking distance to everything in Casco. Extensive road works in Casco Viejo now cannot be ignored but still enjoyed the place!

Expensive for what it was. Noisy due to location. If there is no buffet breakfast available and you bought the breakfast package, you have to argue for what you want.

Lovely historic hotel in great Colonial zone location. Nice rooftop pool and bar, excellent buffet breakfast and welcome drink. Room was stunning and bathroom was spacious and elegant.

Isolation in the room was really bad, also the value for the money was disappointing. The wine list could be way better.

unfortunately our AC didn’t work and we had to change the room in the middle of the night. The pool is in the direct sun so you cannot use it during the day.

Great Location in the Heart of colonial old town, the drinks and food were really good and the staff was very accommodating.

This critique is a bit nit-picky because the PROS far outweight the CONS. Other than front desk staff, most didn't speak English. But, then again, it is a Spanish speaking country and I didn't speak Spanish. The rooms all face into an open air court yard, most with only interior view windows. It can get noisy if there is an event anywhere on the premises. Our toilet wouldn't flush and we had to call maintenance twice. The third time was 10:00 PM and the on-duty staff couldn't fix it so they sent us to another room to sleep for that night. It was fixed when we returned to our room in the morning. So it was a problem, but they did their best to fix it and keep us comfortable.

I liked a lot about this hotel! LOCATION !! We walked to everything in the historic, Colonial Zone, including some amazing restaurants in the evening. Breakfast Coffee & croissant complementary and delicious and $ Breakfast in lobby also very good - egg chef cooks to order. Boutique feel to the hotel - beautiful spaces and art, sunny courtyard for lounging and dinning, small but cozy rooftop pool with bar, tables and a couple of lounging spaces. ( they served Valentines dinner poolside with music the night we were there). It is a small hotel - you can look up from the open-air court yard and pretty much see all the rooms. Staff were all very accommodating. Very clean and well maintained. They front desk hooked us up with a driver who works for them ( Felix ) who was WONDERFUL.

I really wanted to give the hotel a 5 but the internet was spotty going off and on for the entire 4 days that I was there. So the internet coverage was horrible. Also, while we were there, they had 2 weddings going on in the courtyard, which we were not told about. I would have like to have had our room on the wings of the hotel away from all the activities. The refrigerator in the room also was working properly. Would I stay again, Mmmm, not so sure. Perhaps if the price is good.

The location was good and I felt safe. The staff was very friendly. Also the breakfast was pretty good.

Most staff were amazing and very welcoming and helpful, but as we arrived we found out someone who tried to take advantage of us by giving us another room than the one booked via Booking, which he mentioned only once he made me pay the room I did book. Evidently, he said it was an "upgrade" but when I replied it's fine we don't need an upgrade I just want the room I booked, then started a long exchange about how much the new room was good and me maintaining I wanted the room I chose - to eventually understand that it was already occupied by someone else. I found that he had a lot of nerves to make us believe it was our day of luck while changing the reservation without telling us. It's not the first time this happens to me in RD but I was expected more respect from one of the most luxurious hotels in town. Then in return, his colleague came to help and resolve the case, we accepted the other room and they offered us a massage each. But the other guy never apologized. This is not a nice vibe when you arrive in a USD200+/night hotel, where you're supposedly coming to relax.

We liked the pool on the rooftop, the buffet for breakfast was nice too and we tested the spa, which was really good (the masseuse is great!). The location is perfect too to go and explore la Zona Colonial.

Perfection! Possibly the most complete hotel in the area. Multiple amenities such as rooftop pool, spa, and a lot of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner in their various restaurants and bars on-site. The staff was great and this hotel is one of the few pet friendly hotels in the area !❤️
