Great staff , the manager was very helpful, and I got to meet the owner who was incredibly informative about the D R, and we spent a wonderful afternoon together.The entire staff were great. The location is 50 ft away from the El Conde, and the Zona Colonia is a jewel that you should not miss while in the country. Nothing but good things to say. Also the price to stay is a bargain.

The interior is a bit run down, but that is also part of the overall flair of the house.

The Hotel is perfectly located in the old town and in walking distance to the area. It is in a beautiful old house. The staff was very friendly and helped us out with everything we needed. Also we had a good breakfast.

The room had no proper window, but we always had fresh air. If you travel by car, moto taxi or taxi, be aware that due to construction work in the area it is difficult to navigate the streets. But no construction noise in the rooms :)

The staff was professional and super helpful (i.e. car rental recommendation). The room was quite, the breakfast excellent and the Cuba libre at the bar was delicious :) you can find everything close by in walking distance. Hot water in the shower was a bonus!

All the staff at Hotel Class Colonial were so lovely and helpful! They always made a note to greet me as I entered and left the hotel for the day, and were happy to have a chat when I felt like it. As a solo traveller, I felt very safe staying here, as well as it being a great location in the Zona Colonial.

The bed was really bad. Old and not quality. It has wheels and lompy.. it was a bad experience for a fat couple :)

Good hotel, decent and functional rooms. Location is excellent, right in the historic centre of Santo Domingo and everything within a walkable distance.

Would have liked better sound proofing in the balcony rooms that overlook a busy street. Would suggest one get ear plugs if staying in one of those rooms. Unfortunately there are people on the street who think nothing of revving their vehicles at 2am in the morning.

A lovely boutique hotel in an excellent location. Walking distance to most attractions. Excellent customer service especially from Roger (who speaks very good English) and the others who made sure we were comfortable. The complimentary drink at check in was great especially on a hot day. Also the help with bringing up our bags from the street. You select a breakfast type from a menu. Decent portion size, tasty and delivered fast. Hotel offers an affordable and fast laundry service.

Like others say - helpful and super friendly staff, good location, good breakfast, great overall value. Cambio and decent tour operator right around the corner. On the far end of calle el conde, but it's not a long calle, so walk was easy. Felt like a safe area.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The room was well insulated and quiet despite some noise in the hallway. The A/C worked great and they provided free water and fresh juice upon arrival. The breakfast was superb with several different choices to choose from. I would stay here again.
