“Temple house 1 is in a beautiful location only about 12 mins walk from town which is definitely doable and something we did daily. The location is quiet and allows you to fully feel like you’re in the jungle with the sounds of all the birds and animals. During our stay we were one of only two couples at this hostel so it’s very quiet at the moment not sure if it’s out of busy season but there’s currently no atmosphere there”
“The location is wonderful. Although not near town the walk down the hill is not far or difficult and a taxi back up (if you don't want to walk uphill), was 2$. The food was fantástic, the hummingbirds insane. The games room was a nice addition. I think we had the best mojitos here, ever!
We had a family bungalow and although it was nice, it was quite rustic and basic. Only one of 4 rooms had a door. It had 2 lots of stairs and 2 bathrooms.
Some of the bungalows over the suspension bridge looked more modern but we were closer to the main building for food/drinks and hummingbirds.”
