It was super dirty, we received the room uncleaned with trash in the wardrobes and the toilet was smelly and dirty. Then we were offered to change the room and the new one was a bit better but the toilet was smelly as well.

The room made my eyes water so I could not spend much time in it. I could see there's black mold coming through the paint especially in the bathroom and there isn't much ventilation. It's important to open the only window in the bedroom to the inner courtyard but for me it's a safety concern as people are walking by on the inner balcony and there are no window screens. It gets pretty noisy during the day as locals and tourists come in for lunch.

It was a 5-minute walk to the historic downtown.

A hotel of character, rooms arranged around two central area, on interior, the other a covered courtyard. Helpful staff. The effort put into cleaning was outstanding. The bed was comfortable with good quality sheets.

Rooms are a little depressing. Small and dusty, doesn’t feel clean. I’ve stayed in 2 other hotels in Cuenca and you can get much better hotels for the same price.

-The rooms are located on the hotel own restaurant. As the rooms are not completely sealed you hear all noise from people sitting in front of your room and dining. This is a no go and was shocking, when you want to relax and have privacy after a long bus ride. -The wifi connection is very bad. I work online and would have lost my job, if I would have not purchased an esim card, as I never had a wifi connection in the morning on my laptop in this hotel. Very disappointing for this price range.

Nothing. Everyone was nice, the room was comfortable without being too expensive, and breakfast was always good.

Breakfast was always good and the staff took good care of us. We had to extend our stay a day, which was graciously accomidated. I was traveling with my aunt and one of her friends didn't wait for me to get in the car and I was thrown to the curb, badly brusing my lower back. The hotel Vigilante tried to catch me, and picked me up and helped me get to my room. I didn't go out because of the pain from the fall, but he asked about me every day and the rest of the staff did their best to accomidate my needs. One month later I am about recovered, but the woman who disregarded the Vigilante's help and took off without me certainly ruined a nice time and the rest of my vacation in Ecuador.

When booking online, even though they set the price, they give one the crappiest room in the hotel: Desk light did not work, 1 of 3 bulbs in bath was out, remote barely worked, no safe, when I sat on the corner of a bed it was metal grinding on metal. Need new management-they should inspect room, as in better hotels, before they check in guests. It is obvious they don't want repeat business. I will return only if they guarantee the best room in the hotel for the internet rate [$70 a night, which they choose.] [a random person heard my report to the clerk and heartily agreed!] Retrain the manager or fire him!

There were no issues during my stay.

Location is excellent...very close to light rail station making it easy to get back and forth to the airport. The hotel is VERY quiet at night and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The included breakfast is tasty and they also offer a fixed price lunch that is tasty as well. Overall a great stay in Cuenca!

The bed covers were not the cleanest, there's no phone in the rooms we had to walk to the front desk every time we needed something, the staff wasn't the most informative when it comes to suggestions for places to visit (you are better off asking the taxi drivers).

The breakfast was good, the wifi was good, the availability of the staff was good.

This was place was the perfect spot for our stay in Cuenca. The room was nice and spacious, bed was really comfy, amazing shower. Wifi could be spotty but otherwise pretty consistent. Staff were all really great and the breakfasts were good (eggs, ham, cheese, bread, coffee, juice and some fruit). They also do lunches in the restaurant which I would highly recommend trying (great value, really filling, and really tasty). We had an early flight out and staff arranged a taxi for us. Really quiet location but also so close to the main square; great for a good night's sleep. Really charming place overall.

Room was on ground level, with the only window directly on the restaurant. No privacy if you don't close the blind. Also, noisy in the morning. The shower wasn't draining properly and still had some soap and water in the evening after a morning shower. They sent me a post check out message while I was still in bed, the first morning of my 2 nights stay. Didn't feel welcome. Half of the plugs weren't working, mainly those by the bed. Same for the light switch.

In the city centre, next to parque Calderon and a tram line to the bus terminal. The decor in the lobby and restaurant are nice.
