We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The property is in a good location, walking distance from the port and the town. The people running it are very friendly, will help with any problems you have and can help with booking ferry’s and tours. The room is spacious with aircon. There is wifi (not the fastest but I don’t think any wifi on Isabella is great).

A good walking distance from the center - easy and fast to get to the center without staying there. Also a good walking distance from the pier and some snorkling beaches.

FinlandThe wifi, while not great around Isabela in general, had a very weak connection in the room.
The location was a bit further out of the town but all in all maybe a 5min walk, while on the other hand it was closer to the harbor and the snorkeling area. The room and facilities were great and clean! The owner and her son were super friendly and gave me many tips, even helped book a tour for me and got me a bicycle rental.

AustraliaKitchenette provided in room, but no fridge, no tea towel and nothing provided to wash up dishes etc. Michael later told me of a fridge in the common area, which should’ve been mentioned upon check in. I stored some water in a saucepan (no pitcher was provided) and it was gone the next day. No drinking water provided until requested, and even then it took 2 days. He was very insistent on selling me tours, but neglected to give any information about them and what to expect. I was need up on a 16km hike around the volcano when I thought it was just a basic tour. I was not adequately prepared due to lack of information.
Close to ferry terminal, but it wasn’t much farther to other accommodations. Aircon. Good sized room

United KingdomThe constant noise from the water pump. Having read the reviews again, several others have complained about it. It’s very loud and not normal, if needs a service. The only solution the owners had at night was to shut off the water supply, so couldn’t brush teeth or flush toilet.
