Bad TV signal, had to wear earplugs because the hosts family stayed downstairs until the late night.

Wifi was a bit inconsistent. Room was a bit smaller but really we spent almost no time there because we were out in Banos either doing activities or soaking in the hot springs. If you're looking for a more social hostal, this won't have that same atmosphere but it was perfect/inexpensive place to get a good night sleep after a day of white water rafting or biking etc..

It exceeded expectations. Christian was very friendly. He hooked us up with really good bikes for the Ruta de cascades for $5 each. Including a lock, helmet and tire pump etc.. printed off a map and helped answer any questions. The hotel itself was very clean, really quiet and the beds were comfortable. We slept great! Really good value for the price.

There was a party downstairs so we couldn't fall asleep due to noise. No breakfast available.

Our room had an only window to the hallway so the air wasn't so fresh.

Hostal is very nice and clean. Strong Wi-Fi. The owner allowed us to check-in at 3 a.m. for a little fee because our bus from El Coca arrived early. Good location, very close to the bus terminal and in walking distance anywhere else in the city.

the bathroom was tiny. no space to leave anything in it, sink is tiny, just a small towel hanger above to toilet. should add shelves in the shower for soaps etc. the room is ok, quite small as well and also lacking hangers for coats, towels and all that. the shower head was pretty bad tho. curtain in the room doesn’t block well the sunlight so you’ll wake up at 7 max.

it’s an ok place to stay for a few nights. the staff was friendly, the host Christian and his family. they got laundry service, Wi-Fi, hot water in the shower. good value for money I guess.

Staff went the extra mile by staying back to check me in after hours and assisting with me with the issues I was having with my mobile phone at the time. Excellent location nearby the bus terminal, cafes and restaurants.

The room was very humid as it was raining during our stay.

The staff is very friendly! We could leave out luggage there the whole day after check out. Also they cleaned our room and gave us new towels after two nights. Always asked if everything is ok. You can find all you need in walking distance, perfectly close to the main bus station, short walk to the city.

They cancelled on us on the day of our visit because their roof had collapsed due to a leak. They were not very helpful in finding us alternative accommodation - terrible customer service
