Luis is the best host! Super kind and very helpful. The hotel is in a great location. I stayed in one of the suites and the suites are beautiful, large and have all the amenities you could ask for. Favorite place i have stayed in Ecuador. I will return.

Beautiful hostal right opposite the waterfall. Breakfast was delicious and included in the price. The hosts were super helpful and even made us a special tea as we were a bit unwell from our previous stop.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in this hotel, and I must say that my experience exceeded all expectations, largely due to the exceptional staff members. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed, who not only efficiently checked me in but also provided invaluable information about local attractions and activities. Throughout my stay, every staff at the hotel demonstrated a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. The housekeeping staff ensured that my room was impeccably clean and comfortable, while the restaurant staff went above and beyond to give me a great breakfast. One particular standout was Luis, whose extensive knowledge of the area allowed me to make the most of my time in Baños. They were always eager to recommend the best restaurants, arrange transportation, and even help me plan my itinerary. Overall, the staff at this hotel truly made my stay unforgettable, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Baños. The little spa area is totally worth it. You don't need to go outside the facilities to have a relaxing time, which is handy if you don't have too much time in Baños. The location is also great since this place is close to Baños' main attractions.

Drying items was an issue. A portable heater would have solved this for me.

Louis spoke English and was helpful with anything we needed, especially recommending and setting up tours. I am not sure how he could be better at his job and as a person. He deserves a lot of credit.

Rooftop is amazing and so was breakfast,staff very attentive and Luis was very helpful in providing information on the town and its Attractions. The location is great too, close to city downtown and thermal spas. BAÑOS is a beautiful town Surrounded by magnificent mountains. It was safe everywhere.

The staff paid personal attention when I had some stomach problems. They were outstanding, very helpful. They prepared a colada for me since I couldn't have the breakfast. They were like family, always there for me.

Great room, excellent service upon arrival, great breakfast. Upon arrival, the staff put effort into explaining how to use our limited tame best to our possibilities, and they made our stay in Banos very comfortable. Room as advertised, but a bit better :)

The owner/host Luis was very friendly and helpful in terms of what to do, where to go etc. He also had very good english. Breakfast was nice with fresh fruit, granola, cereal, coffee and omelettes both mornings. The location is a couple of blocks off the main street so away from the noise too which was great. The roof top has a nice sawing and chill area as well to look up at the waterfall from the hotel.

I never rate a place 100 per cent but Casa Real was 200 per cent in everything. I am returning and telling others to stay here.

My Internet on the second floor was slow and I kept getting kicked off. Once I got a connection, the internet was okay.

The location is in the quiet side of town. The view from my second floor was of the big cascade in Banos proper. Picture of view from room below. Great night light show from same cascade. The host spoke English and very attentive to our needs. The included breakfast was very good. Among other things, a delicious omelette, fresh fruit, fresh fruit juice and hot tea. Everything was very clean and good mattresses and pillows.

The shower temperature was really hard to manage (either burning hot or ice cold). Note: this hotel is not suitable for people allergic to animals (there are cats and dogs)

Good and quiet location near a beautiful waterfall. It was clean and the staff was really helpful and friendly. You can get tours organized directly at the hotel.
