It is the cleanest place I stayed in Equador. Facilities are great, lots of space to relax, kitchen, garden etc. Location is good, but the staff advise to only walk towards the old town, the other side is a bit dodgy.

If you get a room that located towards the outside area, you will hear the music in the night. But they stop at 10-11

Music a little too loud in social/restaurant areas, but maybe I’m just getting old.

Excellent hostel, with spacious rooms (speaking for the 4 bed dorms) and hot showers. Pleasant, helpful staff. Also have a free bag storage which was incredibly helpful when I went to Otavalo for 3 days. Close to some good restaurants too. The garden area is cool.

Our room was very spacious and stylish, with very comfortable beds. There was a safe and some hanging space for clothes. There was a bar and restaurant on the premises as well as a lovely courtyard. A friendly atmosphere there too. Excellent value for money.

hotel put us in an inferior room compared with our initial reservation. but then made right and were given our superior room. So check your reservation and what the hotel is allocating you.

Great location and room size. we first were given a much smaller room and not per our reservation. But I questions the staff and we were given the booked room which was with balcony and with 2 double beds etc. So once that was sorted out it was great, even though the street was noisy.

It was quite quiet so hard to properly judge the atmosphere. It's very well located for the daytime but at night it was advised not to walk around the immediate area, which is understandable, but a shame.

Huge hostel with decent dorms with curtains around the beds. Plenty of bathrooms and cafes and bar on site. Staff were friendly and always tried to help.

It’s an old city center. So, it was noisy at night because of the police sounds or street fights. You definitely need earplugs. And hotel have plenty of them on reception 😉

It’s a very beautiful historical place. I enjoyed reading the history of this building and its owners. You feel as padr of the unique place living there. The hotel and rooms are very nice. There are inner garden and bar with table tennis and billiard. Bed was big and comfortable. Clean and spacious room. FRIENDLY and helpful stuff. They help to arrange a night taxi for 25$ to airport. Also you can book a tour with theirs help. We enjoyed out tour to Cotopaxi. Breakfast available for 5$. It’s basic Ecuadorian breakfast with fruits, eggs, bread, butter and coffee/tea. Also they have a menu for affordable price. Nothing special, but simple and eatable.

Shower was lukewarm but not to the extent that you'd feel cold after shower.

Like almost everything about this place. The bed was good, staff kind and friendly, a welcome drink to warm you up. Food was good for value too. 7 dollar for shrimp ceviche is a bargain.

The breakfast is nice but could be better for the 5 dollars. There is some slight notice from the street, but we slept very well.

We had a very big double room with a wide and comfortable bed, the room was clean. The service is amazing and allowed us to leave our luggage for a day after our stay. The receptionists are very helpful and kind. The location is very nice in the old town. Very good value for money!
