The free breakfast was quite poor. Only small pieces of breads and little jam and butter with hot water for tea/coffee. Would be nicer to get just standard breakfast like other Ecuadorian places. Wouldn’t mind to get charge for it if it worth it.

Beautiful hostel. Room is spacious, clean and comfortable. When we were there the music was quite loud almost all day long but quiet during sleeping time unlike in the city center that will be loud all night.

location is a bit off the main part of the village and it is a dirt road so when it rains it gets very muddy

Some people have mentioned that they were charged extra upon arrival. Apparently it depends on whether you deal with the gentleman or the lady. I was trying to explain with my poor spanish that this is not the way Booking works. That the price for the customer is final as Booking shows. Hopefully the owners will talk to each other as it hasn't happed yet due to many complains. I hope the owners will take this as a friendly advice. 😉 Yo and the breakfast situation is a joke. Small, same every day. Would be very very happy to pay extra and get a real breakfast. However it was not offered. All at all, we would come again 🙂

We really liked the hostel, we returned for 2 more nights. All together 4 nights. We really enjoyed the location, away from the busy town but still really close. Supermarket near by. The pool inside the hostel was fantastic, really great place to chill during the hottest hours of the day. Beach really close as well. The main entrance door could be solved better. It felt a bit weird ringing the bell after midnight and waiting for someone to open. I guess it's for security. Apparently the owners have no problems with that so it's ok.🙂 All at all, we would come again.

The free breakfast was a joke. Really small and every day exactly the same. There is definitely a space to progress. We would be happy to buy a better one but it wasn't offered.

Great hostal off the main town. Quiet spot, great pool and atmosphere. To the beach just a short walk. Rooms with air-conditioning!! Hot and strong shower!! Awesome!!

Clean, full of amenities with a quiet, relaxed atmosphere just far enough away from the center of Montañita that you aren't kept awake by the noise but you're still within walking distance.

- I requested a later check-in in advance via bookings and didn't receive an answer; when we arrived it took us a little bit until we reached someone to open and got bad vibes - included breakfast is only tea or coffee

The location is a little far from the main street, if you have car is fine. The room was ok but I dont know why it was a lot of mosquitoes inside the room. You have to request for the towels.

Despite the reservation clearly stating the total price of the room, with all taxes and fees included. They charged additional taxes and fees! Incredible.

The room was extremely dirty. One of the dogs pees close to the pool and the other tried to attack me. It's quite expensive and personally I don't think you get a good worth for your money.

The kitchen was good and you can get surfing lessons in the hostal

The staff didn’t speak english. But we manage to be understood.

The location is really great. It’s quiet, but not to far from the party. And it’s really nice having a jacuzzi after a day at the beach.
