Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandThis is an impressive hotel in a good location close to the town centre. There's a sense of calm from the second you walk into reception. Friendly, welcoming staff who had me checked in in no time. The room was nice. Solid wifi throughout. Breakfast had a great selection - something for all tastes. The pool area is very impressive - huge. It was being used by lots of classes, families, teams and groups. I paid and extra €20 to use the Spa area... It was nice. Right next to the pool - but felt totally separate.

FinlandThe trash bin is quite small in the room; There is no good kids' room, only a very small corner near reception; The locker in the toilet was buggy; It would be nice to have a dinner buffet (the same as breakfast)
Breakfast: is very good, coffee is great; Room: nothing special - clean, neat, fresh. Everything I needed. Also, there was a bunk bed for my kids, we have not used it but it's great that they provide it. Bar: is not for free:) Robes for adults and ponchos for kids were provided (for spa attending); Spa/Swimming pool - is just perfect for me. I was training every morning and my kids were playing in pools for kids. Checkout at 12, but they allow us to stay for 1 more hour.

AustriaTo pay for every tiny detail, like slippers. To have to inform if I wanted the room to be cleaned. That there were no amenities / shampoo, lotion, but one liquid soap. And, that the marketing was to be "environmentally friendly" by not offering these services. I think all fair, but then you should not claim the price of others that provide this kind of service, and inform promintenly on the booking.com website before one selects the hotel. Finally, the heading did not really work well.
Most of the staff was very friendly. Breakfast offered the usual hotel choices but with some varieties every day. The breakfast room could accommodate many people, even if the corridors could not really well. In general, the area is rather quiet, compared to others downtown.

FinlandThe salads with mayonnaise at breakfast were stale.
Great spa and great to be able to visit early in the morning. Thanks to the staff for allowing me to leave my things in the room a little earlier, as it was already ready.

GermanyRoom is quite dirty, not well cleaned. There was dusty on the floor since before we arrived and it wasn't cleaned during our stay. For a 4 star hotel, I would expect more from the cleaning service.
The waterpark is quite nice, gym is super complete and location is excelent.

SwedenI didn’t really understand if it was mandatory to wear slippers, so I bought in the reception but then noticed people didn’t use slippers. Unnecessary buy (could have saved me 6 euro).
The calmness. The waterslide! The pool (50m!) The bed. The breakfast.

LatviaThe SPA is not what expected- a huge swimming pool and two saunas 45° and 80°, no jakuzzi for relaxation, no salt rooms, nothing more. Some tubes for kids. But it is cold to be out of sauna, the temperature is pretty low, not welcoming for relaxation. You can pay additional 20 euros per person and attend 18+ sauna, as we spend just 15 minutes in the spa, that was cold and boring, so we didn't try. That was a disappointment, so better attend Viimsi or other hotels.

IrelandNothing really; very small thing - the staff were a little over diligent in their clearing and cleaning .
Really good location. It was very close to the port terminal and a 5 minute walk to the old town. The pool facilities were really good . The gym was a proper gym and really well equipped as opposed to a little room that is often marketed as a gym. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful.

IndiaThe breakfast spread disappointed me, and though most of the staff behaved well, this bald guy at the hotel restaurant was very rude in not giving us the table for dinner. I think for a 4 star property I would expect the hotel staff to be well trained and we'll educated to treat the customers with utmost care. But then you always have a odd one out every where
Very convenient location if you want to explore Tallin bu foot. close to the port (15mjn walk) and quite close to the old town. A 7 min walk and you will find yourself in the heart of the old town. The health and beauty services were affordable, the water park (not really a park) though but still had loads of fun with the family there. It was good enough for a 4 year old to enjoy her heart out, swimming in their pool
