Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FinlandWe could hardly believe there was a renovation ongoing on our floor with loud drilling in a nearby guest room. Why had this not been mentioned at the time of booking or at the time of check-in? Knowing this we would have booked elsewhere as we had just booked just one day before arriving. The receptionist did not say a word about the renovation upon arrival, so were taken by suprise when going to our floor - the renovation crew busy drilling all day. We managed to change only one of our rooms to another floor but the noise was still disturbing. No discount offered to compensate. The quality of the rooms we stayed at did not meet the expectations one has of a spa hotel. Very old fashioned and run down, thin towels, spots on the hallway wall to wall carpets, very basic bathroom without a decent shower booth. Just felt like staying at a motel. Everything in the room was clean though. At breakfast, there could have been another coffee machine to avoid the long lines. The outside of the hotel looks nice though and it's a perfect place to stay for sporty people.
The swimming pool and gym were nice and the nearby lake with newly renovated beaches/decs showed finest Estonian craftmanship. There were plenty of outdoor activities, equipment for rent and nice paths for walking along the lake shore. We enjoyed morning swims in the lake.

EstoniaThe only option for lunch and dine on-site is a pub downstairs which serves decent food but gets monotonous during a longer stay.
Family-friendly hotel in a lovely area. Hiking trails and lots of possibilities for outdoor activities. Excellent breakfast.

EstoniaRooms were very old, stuff seemed tired (nobody smiled etc). Spa was one big pool and children pool- but in there somebody was pooped into the water, so we couldnt enjoy there. It left very bad first impression. Spa was a little bit dirty.
Location was good. Food was okay. Nice children playground (more toys needed).

FinlandAll closed, no food, bars in July. In bookings we misunderstood that there are WC's showers in camping. 75e for camping was almost a hotel price, disappointed with the camping. Breakfast was like expected, not saying anything bad as we knew what it was but borest breakfast we had had In 3 weeks on hotels, but this is camping so can't complain.
After 3week of spas and different hotels caffe was for our tasting, strong Enough not tea like everywhere else.

Norwayof the big minuses, only the lack of air conditioning in the room, but it was ok to sleep with the window open!
This SPA, of course, this pool with two baths is hard to call, but the place itself is very beautiful and good. Very nice pub, great breakfast, beautiful and warm lake, beautiful nature and tranquility.

LithuaniaBad balance between price and quality. The place is in very nice location, on the shore of the lake. But that is all. The room/hotel need renovation, there are no utensils or teapot in the room (and we took the suite and paid a lot). The furniture is old and no style, no design. No normal soap/shampoo, it is some liquid in shower, but it is not clear, is it shower gel, is it shampoo, or is it both. For the less price we get our next hotel in EST with much more premium look and service. Jacuzzi in spa is like some kind of home usage jacuzzi, not suitable for industrial usage - it is slippery plastic. Water in it is also with some chemicals, from which your body gets somehow slippery and greasy.
The place is in very nice location, on the shore of the lake. Breakfast was good, there was a wide selection of food.

EstoniaA bit worn out, food was terrible in the pub for dinner, and the buffet breakfast was a huge disappointment. Poor selection and quality. Just not worth the money. No toiletries or spa shoes in the room, but the robe was there. Had to go to the spa in boots, because we forgot to take our flipflops.
Great location, beautiful views and surroundings, nice pool, lovely staff.

EstoniaThe rooms! we had bright green walls, furniture and curtains. The interior design was very disturbing. Also the shower was leaking water. In our friends room the light bulb was broken. also no water bottles in the rooms. There is so much potential, some simple changes to make everything so much better! The location is just so good. the spa area could also use a renovation. there should be a sauna in the pool area with a view, some extra jacuzzis, as there is only one large pool that has quite cold water, no place to warm yourself up. grown ups sitting in kids pools is just weird.
Beautiful location, that it had bowling and spa. unfortunately the spa was bit worn out

EstoniaThere was no working WiFi. Ventilation did not work or was configured really low - so you need to think and plan in advance your actions in bathroom. Take your own extension cord with you if you plan to stay on 3rd floor and the room, which number is even. There are only 2 wall sockets and they are on the opposite wall of the bed. There are no wall sockets next to bed and to charge your equipment you need to place them inside of the wardrobe. There is actually one free wall socket in the bathroom as well but keep in mind that in the bathroom there is no air circulation and you still dont want to enter there voluntarily. Staff dont have extra extension cords for some reason. Saunas are separately in the dressing rooms
Swimming pool and Sauna were both pleasant and clean. Gym was equipped better than your average one. There was really conveniet to enter to Pub and/or Restarurant without leaving the hotel

SwitzerlandThe spa part of the hotel is clearly a bit dated. There are two small saunas directly beside the shower room, a large swimming pool, a small kids pool, and a hot tub. Our room was rather small. We had requested an extra bed for our child, and found a still folded camping bed in our room, which we had to set up ourselves (incl. moving some furniture to make space). During our two-day stay, there was no room service. There was no fridge in the room, and no free water provided (despite the claim of the hotel the tap water might have been potable, but tasted strongly of chlorine). We had to bring our room towels to the spa. Overall, not the equipment and service I would expect from a spa hotel. Also, there were a few things advertised as activities which had to be paid extra, most notably the rowing boats on the lake which at 18 Euro/ hour were ridiculously expensive. The playground was out of service.
The Hotel is very nicely located at the Püjajärve Lake, with a small beach in addition to the indoor swimming pool. The house itself is an old Villa with all its charm. Special mention for the large breakfast buffet (hot and cold, sweet and salty, large fish corner), which, if you come early enough, can be enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the garden. Large park to have children run free. The swimming pool provides swim aids for children. Large indoor playroom so a parent can relax.
