Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Noise from the adjacent road. Restaurant is open only for breakfast.
Good, convenient location if you travel by car. Large parking lot right next to the entrance. Good breakfast

I don't like shower curtains because they stick to my body when I use them. The shower stall has no edge on the floor and therefore the floor is full of water. The coat hangers were made of wire and I couldn't hang a coat on them. The radiator temperature couldn't be adjusted and the room was a bit too hot for me.
Very quiet and peaceful. Free parking in front of the house. The room was spacious and had everything you need, but there was no desk. Warm and cozy. Very friendly service. The breakfast was very good and had enough choices.

Bathroom needed just a bit of handyman "touch", but those were just minor details rather perfectionist speaking inside of me.
Simple, but nice and clean place. Had tons of TV channels available. Breakfast was also simple, but decent. I have been there before and after COVID, and it sure improved in terms of "whole package for the price". Not in the middle of the city is rather benefit for this place!

Walls and ventilation let in a lot of sounds from neighbours. Luckily for us, it was just neighbours singing😄 Drinking glasses were dirty.
Breakfast was great! City is near and everything needed for a one night stay can be found in a room.

+The hotel is located in a quiet and green suburb north of the Tartu city centre, close to the modern Estonian National Museum - which was the venue of the conference I attended. +Good breakfast: bacon and eggs, vegetables, yoghurt, pastries etc. Modern coffee vending machine that brews drinks from freshly grinded coffee beans (much better than the capsule coffee vending, that are so common in higher class hotels in Europe I`ve stayed in last years!) +Nice meadow view from the window/balcony. +Good quality tap water well worth drinking. +Very good price/quality ratio, for the basic amenities supplied.

There was something that bothered ma a little: the only shower was the hand-held shower of the bathtub. And for someone over 2 meters tall it was impossible to rise the shower over my head because of the short hose.
Nice location for a car-traveller, nice room (suite) with the frigde in the room, my kind of breakfast (eggs and bacon), good coffee (thanks to the staff once more for letting me fill up my own mug), enough parking spaces

The beds are very soft so if you like to sleep on harder mattress like me, it might be a bit uncomfortable.
Good location, city Center is reachable by foot, a rather spacious room and bathroom, rooms have balconies.

Walls are made of papers. Bathroom is dirty. Radiator in room nr 205 is broken and fixed with some weird construction. They say room is cleaned but if there are washers on the floor how come did you clean ?

The breakfast was a disgrace. They said they had vegan options. Well they didn’t even have plant based milk. Then we were eating tomatoes and fruit and they made us pay as we were consuming everything. The English of the staff wasn’t so good, manageable but they came across a bit cold and careless. The room also has a carpet, as someone with allergies I can tell this is filled with mites. I could instantly not breathe. The pictures are also taken 10 years ago. It’s not so new.
Easy to locate. Comfortable bed. It was nice to have this big grass view. It was peaceful in the morning.
