Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room was too cold and there were no night courtains. Breakfast buffet was really good. It was strange that while we where there they changed rule about cleaning a room. In our info sheet there was information that they’re cleaning every second day. And when we asked about cleaning, the receptionist sayed that “the rule has changed “ and they are cleaning every third day. So it would be nice, that if some rule is changing you inform your guests.

Breakfast was good. Waffle was nice bonus. Only thing that I was expecting to have bacon in breakwast, but maybe next time.

Did not like the state of the bathroom, rust everywhere in shower it needs to be replaced and the shower door was almost falling out of hinges. Also it’s possible to hear everything trough the doors we has to ask for a different room that’s away from elevators as one could hear all noise.
Lovely hotel, very good location for those who wants to visit Vana Tallin and Tallin Port as it’s a very short distance. There is another hotel attached to this hotel where there is a spa and swimming pool amd can be used by Tallin Express hotel guests I think it was 10 euro charge. We didn’t eat breakfast there só I can’t comment. Prices is Tallin are very high what came to a surprise as in neighbouring Latvia everything is 3 times cheaper 😃 all in all it’s a nice clean hotel.we stayed in February amd the rooms were warm It has free luggage storage.

I would say the noise from the street was rather load,but maybe because we had the room in the corner of the building.
Very close to port - that is why we choose this hotel. and yes, 3min and you are in the row to ferry.

My chikdren were scared, because one customer who was behaving agressive toward us. My children are 6 and 9years. The person next room 238 behavior spoiled holiday, cause he was drunks and yelling to us, with no reason at all.. Hotel security did good job, but children were allready scared, cause you did not change the room. They were afraid to move in hotel cause of that!.
Personel were kindly. Good location. Nice rooms

Would be great to have complimentary bottle of water and bigger room. Rooms were quite basic, no iron or kettle.

Breakfast starts at 0800 on Saturday we had to be somewhere at 0900 so it was a bit of a rush.
Location was excellent. Breakfast was good. Main reception was pretty good however our first greeting could have been more welcoming on Thursday evening.

We got a room for disabled people, felt strange

Parking is complicated in the area so prepare to park 300m away in public parking(fees).
Quick access, automatic bar in lobby, perfect for a few days stay.
