Superb value hotel! The owners were super hospitable! One of the best in all my experience.. and I've stayed in many hotels, from 5☆ hotel suites to shared bathroom hostels... The rooms were decent, bathroom in working order.. totally what I expected from a family run hotel. All in all, a happy customer. Def will recommend!

Amazing hotel. Everything is clean and the views are adorable. We were welcomed by a very hospitable and respectful man at the reception who explained everything to us about Marsa Matruh. We planned to leave earlier but extended our stay as it was really comfortable. We highly appreciated the upgrade and a small souvenir we received at the end. Thank you so much! We will definitely return here.

I was extremely comfortable my whole time there. The staff especially the gentleman working at reception who seemed to be one of the managers really offered exceptional service. They really made me feel at home and they were incredibly attentive to my needs ! I would highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel is absolutely amazing, and I am more than willing to give it the highest praise! We came to this city by car, but when we were about to check out, our car’s system and battery seemed to have some issues, and we couldn’t start it. We reached out to the owner for help, and not only did he step in to assist, but he also called his friends to help fix the car together. Thanks to their collective effort, the car was successfully repaired. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the entire process. From the moment we arrived, the owner made us feel warmly welcomed. On our first day, he gave us detailed recommendations for local restaurants and attractions, which turned out to be excellent. He even shared his WeChat contact with us, and later, he sent us stunning sunset photos taken from the hotel rooftop—such a thoughtful gesture! When we checked out, he even gave us a small souvenir with a beautiful meaning, which touched us deeply. The breakfast served at the hotel was also incredibly delicious and satisfying. His English is excellent, making communication very smooth. The hotel itself is spotless, with a fantastic location that is convenient for exploring the area. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and every detail of our stay was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. The combination of a great environment, superb hospitality, and the owner’s genuine care and assistance made this an unforgettable experience. If I ever return to this city, I will definitely stay here again!

The hotel manager is super friendly, seems there are quite a lot of Chinese travellers in this place so he know quite well with WeChat, Xiaohongshu, and he can give you the best shot to visit in Matruh.

yes! the boss does looks like Ross from the Friend! he is funny and kind and his tour guide is a "matruhpedia" if you have any problem just ask him! it is a old fashion hotel built and runs by two generations, and the location is so convenient! also they have very wonderfull breakfast!! please somebody when you choose this hotel, pet "lucky" the golden retriever for me please,she is sooooo cute

Mr emad gave me so many great recommendations of travelinng in Matrouh, it saved my time, and i had a great experience in matrouh. The hotel location is beside the main road of matrouh. It has cheap but good breakfast. The staff were so polite and professional. My room has great light and air. And i like the little gift from Mr emad, a key chain, very lovely

Only downside, there was some wedding DJ or something that played music nearby the hotel every night. But aside from that, it was great. But apparently I didn't mind that much, because I chose to stay here again on my way back from Siwa. I stayed on my way to Siwa, and on my way back from Siwa. Would stay again!

The view from my room was amazing, the staff were very friendly and helpful (lots of great recommendations for things to do and good restaurants), the beds were comfortable, the rooms clean, the water pressure strong and the water hot. It felt like luxury.

Right in the centre of Marsa Martrouh, this hotel has a fantastic and friendly team and helped us out even though we arrived at 2am. Extensive breakfast! Loved it so much we came back after visiting Siwa.

The room was quite noisy, as we were right by the busy street. To be fair, we were given the option of which room we wanted and we chose that one without considering the noise factor so that’s probably our fault! The room was quite small for two people, not a lot of space for luggage but we made it work. The shower water splashed all over the bathroom floor. But it’s a very affordable hotel with very attentive and kind staff

The receptionist/manager was amazing. So kind and extra helpful. He went above and beyond for us — helped us to cross the street to the ATM, arranged a driver to take us for a quick tour of Cleopatra Beach and the Sea Eye and had the foresight to also arrange for the driver to take us to the bus station afterwards to catch our bus. He made us feel very safe and comfortable and everything was so easy. The breakfast was very generous and plentiful

Everything okay for this price

Excellent location within short walking distance from the best restaurants and the beach. The streets around the hotel are a little funky but the place itself has retro (if somewhat musty) charm with friendly and helpful staff. Feeling the sea breeze on the upper floors is wonderful. Super comfy beds with fresh clean linens. Rooms have complimentary mineral water, different kinds of instant coffee and tea with electric kettle.
