Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ChinaThere is some distance from hotel to the downdown. But the host can arrange one car for you.At night, the villagers nearby had some activity of singing. It is very noisy and luckily I had my earplug. And it would be better to put some Insect repellent product at the first floor.
The host is kind.He waited me at the hotel and showed me the way to the room(It is in a village). The driver who was arranged by the host was patient and went along with me to various scenic spots. And the restraunt which the host recommended was great.

ThailandA few things you should know -- First, this place is VERY hard to find. So use their taxi guy if you're getting picked up at the airport. And if you're doing a pick up for a Nile cruise, then the owner will 100% have to give them instructions in the morning. My driver for the tour told me to suggest to the owner that they make some clear signage for drivers from the main road. Even on the door of the guesthouse there is no signage. The place looks just like a house with a usual door, just like all the others on the dirt road. So it's literally impossible to find. My driver only found me in the morning because I anticipated this and left the front door wide open...eventually he walked past as he was wandering up and down the dirt road trying to find me. The same applies for food and water -- you need to have all of that before you arrive or pick it up along the way, because it's super far away from any kind of shops. So while the price is great and it has a nice view, it's by far the least convenient location I've ever stayed at. If that's not a problem for you, then you'll love the at-home feel of the place otherwise.
This is more of a guest house than a hotel, and it was nice to be greeted by one of the managers when I arrived. There's a huge shared kitchen / living room downstairs. And the rooftop has washing machines and a nice view over the Nile as well as a big table to sit at. The next morning, I ran into a nice Egyptian woman who was also staying there, so it feels very much like home. The rooms are twin-bed style and mine had a nice view over the river. The bathroom is huge and has what you need. It felt clean and safe there. I wish I had arrived earlier, as I would have loved to have enjoyed some time up on the roof to just look around at the river view.

ItalyThe hotel is not that close to the city center. it takes you more than 20min on foot to get there or 10min by tuc-tuc. The hotel is in a new area of aswan, where lots of building are still under construction, so no services like shops or café are reachable on foot.
Room was clean. The service is very efficient. He organized us the transport from/to the airport and tuc-tuc ride to the city center.

AustraliaLocation very isolated and had to go through a very narrow and dangerous road to get to the place. I definitely do NOT recommend if you are one or two ladies traveling on your own. This place is only suitable for a group of people. Bedroom was very large and beds were good however only thick blankets were provided for covers and bed sheets needed an upgrade Pick up was provided at a cost of £400 Egyptian. It would’ve been much better to incorporate that in a higher accommodation price than charge it separately. No meals were provided. All those should have been mentioned in the description
Responsiveness from host. Willingness to help. Large bedrooms

SingaporeThe road leading down to the hotel is not paved and difficult to get to. We had a lot of difficulty leaving when our driver could not find the way. And the road out is also very narrow.
The view fm the room was gorgeous. We were upgraded. We were also lucky as the owners picked us up fm the airport as they were on the same flight. They are extremely hospitable and welcoming.

United StatesIt’s about a 10ish or so minute walk from a market to buy water or something.
The room is very spacious, shower had good water pressure, the pool area and the rooftop were both very nice. There is a washing machine for use. Wi-Fi worked fine. Reception was really helpful.

Annddddd I experienced the best sunset I’ve actually ever seen. The rooftop is a supurb view of the Nile river, greenery, desert and that glorious red sun.

Abkhazia, GeorgiaNothing! Everything was amazing!
We stayed at Hares’ AirBnB for one night, but we should have stayed for so many more. He sent someone from the train station to pick us up and always had a car at the ready for when we needed it. We knew that we wanted to go to the Philae Temple and Nubian village whilst in Aswan but hadn’t sorted transport to and from. Hares was amazing. He organised the car to the dock, the boat to the locations and collection at whatever time we wanted. He even came to collect us himself from the Philae Temple and gave us a quick tour around the Nile, telling us more about the Temple’s history. The accommodation itself is idyllic. There is a rooftop terrace where you can sit overlooking the Nile and where you can see the most gorgeous sunset every evening. There is a pool to sit and relax in the summer heat and the rooms are all clean and extremely comfortable. Hares takes care of everything. If there is anything you need or want, if he doesn’t ask first, which he likely will, then you can always ask him. He is one of the nicest hosts we have ever met. He helped make our stay in Aswan one of the best experiences of our lives. I HIGHLY recommend you stay here.
