Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

We love everything about the property. It’s very easy to move from the room to the restaurant, pool and beach and extremely relaxing. Everything is very clean. The staff make sure the guests have everything they want in a vacation. We never leave the property when we visit.

United Arab EmiratesEvery thing
For the past three years, every time we took a trip to Sharm El Sheikh, Baron Palms resort has been our go to. Unsurprisingly, our stay there over the past week has been nothing short of exceptional. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the very hospitable reception team who checked us in seamlessly within 10 minutes. Mr. Ahmed even upgraded our regular room to a pool view room free of charge! The resort itself is absolutely gorgeous and, being an adults only facility, you can rest assured you’ll be able to catch a quick snooze on the pool! The pool lifeguards are extremely helpful and are quick to help the guests set up. Mr.Hasan, one of the pool lifeguards, was extremely friendly and we really enjoyed our afternoon quick chats with him! The beach is marvellous during the early mornings and there’s a dive-in pier where you can hop off to snorkel. The biodiversity you see around the coral reef as you snorkel is absolutely breathtaking. The waters on the coast line are some of the clearest I’ve ever seen. There are also lifeguards on the dive-in deck which is also very assuring if you’re taking your kids down with you. One of our favorite aspects of this resort is the food! Mr. Halawany at the Tiran main Restaurant is extremely welcoming and accommodating - he always asked if we needed any special accommodations and even offered to send breakfast to my daughter’s room when she was feeling to unwell to dine in the restaurant. The rest of the restaurant crew were just as cordial and eager to welcome us. We particularly enjoyed the Oriental night that was held on Friday. They served delicious Egyptian food, including an assortment of meats that were grilled on the patio while a live Arabic artist was performing a few steps away. There also served plenty of delicious desserts that it was impossible not to fill your plate!! Later that night, we enjoyed a traditional belly dance and tannoura segment hosted by the fantastic animation team.

SpainCheckin was very annoying and slow, total 3 hours. The promised early checkin or late checkout both don’t exist (due to availability). Personally happened to us and several other guests that you book a room with Balcony, but then you get one without and need to wait and change rooms, which was quite annoying. Food was ok, but more 3/4 stars level not 5. The rooms are clean, but old. Many scratches in the bathrooms etc.
Nice and clean property, we had a good stay. I wouldn’t put it in a 5 star resort category, more like 3 stars standard in Europe. But still not a bad place. Staff was generally very friendly and helpful.

ItalyFood: Breakfast was decent, but lunch was very disappointing and dinner did not live up to the standards of a 5-star hotel. To dine at the Egyptian or pool restaurant, you had to reserve well in advance due to lack of tables, and we often ended up forced to eat at the main restaurant — where the quality was, frankly, poor. Environmental note: In the main restaurant, they serve water exclusively in plastic bottles, with no carafes or dispensers available. This leads to a huge amount of plastic waste every day. It would be more sustainable and guest-friendly to provide water dispensers with refillable glass bottles or jugs. Beach Bar: Very limited service. Staff frequently forgot our drink orders, and when they did arrive, drinks were often warm. Definitely not the service level we expected. Service & Staff: Service at the bars and restaurants was inconsistent. Small, simple requests — like salmon without avocado or a bowl of peanuts for aperitif — were often declined, citing bizarre rules. We were told peanuts were “only available at the main bar,” but even going there, we weren't allowed to bring them to the pool bar. The rigidity of some of these rules really didn’t make sense. What was even more frustrating: after 12 days at the hotel, staff were still asking if we were guests — despite the fact that we were wearing the standard (and very uncomfortable) wristband, or had it with us. Honestly, after nearly two weeks, guests should be recognized without question. Spa & Gym: The spa was another letdown: while sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi are advertised as included, this only means one time for 30-minute session per stay — not what you expect when “spa access” is promoted. The gym is small but okay, though the stretching mats were filthy and clearly never cleaned. Wi-Fi Wi-Fi worked only in the room. In all other areas of the hotel — beach, pool, restaurant — there was no signal. This was a real inconvenience in 2025, especially at a 5-star resort.
Room: Rooms and bathrooms are dated, but they are still charming and very clean. What really made a difference was the beautiful balcony with pool view — definitely one of the nicest parts of our stay. Beach & Pool: The pool is very beautiful and the beach is lovely with direct access to a stunning coral reef. One of the few highlights of our stay. Shuttle Service Free shuttle to Naama Bay is basically useless: departure at 11:00, return at 13:00 — when shops are still closed. The evening shuttle to Soho Square was better and made more sense. Entertainment Low-key but pleasant. The entertainment team, especially Muu, Karim, Medise was absolutely lovely — always smiling, positive, and energetic. A true highlight! Final impression: At check-out, they kindly offered us a small snack and a bottle of water for the journey — a thoughtful gesture that we really appreciated In summary: Baron Palms has strong potential with its pool, beach, and reef, but the food, inconsistent service, poor Wi-Fi, and lack of fair beach seating really hurt the overall experience. Wouldn’t return unless significant improvements are made.

United Arab EmiratesOur room wasn’t ready we had to wait an hour, the staff were too overwhelmed, there was a bad smell in the room specially the toilets. The interior is too old, we are 2 but had 3 beds for some reason. The alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages were made in the same blender. A-lot of mosquitoes. I personally heard multiple comments about my nationality from the cooking staff thinking i don’t understand them. I liked the sea and some of the activities made.

IsraelThe location is good and the hotel is clean, however there are many drawbacks, the hotel is so quiet that you can't hear music, the hostesses are very cheap and start with the spouses freely without being ashamed, the food is not tasty at all, you will have to give up meals rather than leave with a stomach achieve

FranceThe hotel is very beautiful, the location is a bit far from all the attractions. The staff is very kind and always very pleasant especially Mohamed R at the reception desk. The only downside in this hotel for me is the food, which is really not up to the standard of a five-star hotel. The beach is very beautiful. The room service is very good.

United KingdomThe bar & restaurant service was very hit & miss Sometimes you were served drinks & beverages in the correct glass or cup other times they just used anything they laid their hands on, they didn’t see the necessity to get it correct. Esspesso coffee in a breakfast mug, gin & tonic in a beer glass etc Buffet tables were not cleared and set properly after the first people had finished constantly having to ask for a knife & fork or a glass or napkin that they had not laid ready for the next sitting The food was cold, the Al la cart restaurants were chaotic with waiters not knowing how to serve things up on time ie we received the meat 5 minutes before the vegetables etc. Again attention to detail was lacking. Waiter service around the pool was sporadic, they would take your order then come round with a tray full of cocktails that you didn’t order, we had to wait half an hour for a bottle of water by which time we had gone to the bar and got it ourselves. Late check out wasn’t available and was told to use the spa to shower & get ready to go home but no towels, toiletries or hair drying facilities. Had to shower with people walking in & out from the spa and had to go to the airport with wet hair!
Spotlessly clean

United KingdomExcellent hotel. Staff super friendly and efficient. Restaurant and food above average for an All Inclusive. Outside pool Restaurant served really delicious food and the staff were amazing. On our last day reception told us we could use the room until we left at 4pm so we could shower, really nice touch. Only downside was the spa; we used our complimentary half hour but the steam room wasn't that hot and the jacuzzi wasn't warm at all with tiles not only fallen off but in little piles! Needs some refurbishment.

We had an amazing few days at the Baron Palm. The room was spacious, buffett food was great and staff were really friendly and helpful. Its definitely good value for money. They let me check out couple of hours later as my flight was in the late afternoon free of charge. :)
