We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe corridors were very dated. The room was basic, with a hairdryer from the 1980s. The mini bar which was supposedly all inclusive was more or less empty. Whilst the staff were helpful there were not enough of them. The main buffet restaurant was help yourself to the extreme., ie find a table that had been cleared (lots of used tables with no one clearing and resetting). They were slow to top up items such as cups, butter, teabags we either went with out or waited in a queue. The pool area is excellent but not enough sunbeds for guests so daily "towel wars" that occasionally became loud and heated. This is not something I would expect from a supposed 5* resort.
The staff were very helpful but there were not enough of them particularly in the main restaurant and pool. The pool and reception areas were 5 *

KuwaitThe food is very bad. Only breakfast is fine. The resort is very far from everything and there is nothing in the same area. You need at least 15 minutes to reach the center. It's very over priced as it's very boring, no activity or events inside the resort. It is only for someone who wants to chill and relax alone. For us, we felt it is very boring compared to other resorts. We booked in baron palms but the reception moved us to baron resort for a better view. This also was disappointing to change the resort for us because there is no room with a good view in palms
It's clean and classy

United KingdomThe sea is quite beautiful with all the fish and corals, it’s a different experience however you can’t walk into the sea, you need to use the jetty which is quite long and the sea was wavy the time we where there. Secondly, we couldn’t really get along with the staff , we didn’t understand whether they want some tips Or that’s their usual behavior, especially in the pool area if you are not from certain big cold country ;) they won’t take care of you , they didn’t bring any drinks to us, they didn’t even look at our faces. And when we went to bar to get our ourselves everytime we waited like 30 mins. They asked money for Vegan milks!! Which was stupid because they use coconut milk in some of the alcohol but they refused to put coconut milk in the coffee for free. QThese things shouldn’t happen when you are in all inclusive hotel, it really bothers you. Some of the alcohols are free but the good ones are not. So you get very cheap spirits + syrup alcohol drinks. The hotel has lack of entertainment but they go to nice clubs every-night. Lastly the food in the restaurant is not really good so we stick with the open buffet.
First of all the hotel itself very nice and clean, it has got a large pool and it’s quiet around the pool so you can chill. Food is good, unlike some hotels where they serve tons of variety, this one doesn’t have many different options but they change the menu everyday and food quality is really good also you can find something to eat throughout the day.

Room pic was not accurate as per photo on booking.com, reception staff admitted that it was not what we booked but hotel was full so they refused to change No late check out available In a 5* hotel I would expect fresh milk in my coffee Not everyone likes their drinks 80% alcohol and 20% mixer !!!

Germanythe food was really bad, sweets are awful. The all inclusive thing is not that real, for e.g. for fresh juice you have to pay 3 dollars for message you have to pay 80 EUR (which is very expensive). All inclusive includes only the soft and canned drinks. The rooms need to be renewed. the prices of the transportation is very high in comparision with the taxi prices
the area of the swimming pool looks nice. the beach area is good.

ItalyWe liked all, enjoyed our time and relaxed, would go back to Baron Palms immediately :) As a suggestion we think there is maybe room for improvement in the furnishing of rooms, and also they could be light and sun proof. Food and cocktails: plenty of choice, high quality of ingredients, but sometimes less is better, if you look for perfection of recipes. Anyhow these are just suggestions, we really liked everything and we hope to be back soon.
The beach is amazing, easy access to the reef, swimming pool is stunning, overall the environment is super quiet and relaxing, we really enjoyed our staying at Baron Palms. Our appreciation goes especially to the staff that are super nice and were always very helpful, truly welcoming.

TurkeyI think all inclusive system should be abandoned all around the globe. Almost all of the choices around were all inclusive, we chose one; there are only so called local alcoholic beverages. (I guess same for other places too.) alcoholic beverages quality is 3/10; wines are quite young and tasteless. cocktails are made with diluted alcohol, you can’t enjoy yourself. I would rather spend 1/2 for accommodation and pay for a regular drink. One mild negative is the place of the main restaurant; placed at ground level and has limited view for the garden since the hotel is not at the beach front. we chose the hotel since it is for adults only; the neighbor Baron Hotel accept kids and is at the beach front and many restaurants with a sea view.
The place is perfect for reef snorkeling. Staff are very responsive and helpful. our housekeeper Mahmoud for room 208 could be a very good example for customer centricity. one could find plenty of tasty food at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The beach bar staff are very friendly and serve refreshing drinks on your leisure.

United KingdomI thought that the resort could communicate better to their customers what are the rules in regard to the coral reef and going into the sea in general. These are the biggest assets on the red sea and every resorts could do a better job in educating the tourists and ensuring everyone is better informed
The resort was very clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and attentive to customers. On the beach, the people trying to sell excursions did not bother anymore me once I made clear I was not interested. The food was better than many other hotels I have been to in the same area, so overall I was pleased but it could improve further. The positive thing is that hotel’s management seems genuinely interested in improving as it actively sought customers feedback throughout our stay (not just at the end).

IsraelThe staff was excellent, let us start with this Its definitely a 4 star hotel at most, far from the beach and the food was Ok but definitely not great. The spa is nothing to write home about. And the the gym you should simply be ashamed of yourselves. For 500$ a night for 4 adults its a rip off, not worth and will never come again.

United KingdomThe all-inclusive deal looked good but food was high on quantity, low on quality at times. Drinks were poor quality also. cocktails were undrinkable…that is the first time in my life I’ve ever had that experience-I can normally drink anything 😂 Food was disappointing. Theme nights were bizarre interpretations of different cuisines. Even when ordering a la carte in restaurants, we were bought the wrong items repeatedly. This happened on 4 separate occasions. We were offered profuse apologies but nothing changed.
Well presented grounds and beach area. Nice snorkelling from beach. plenty of space. Friendly staff.

United StatesSanitation on the beach is poor glassware is not being chemically or steam cleaned but instead just splashed with water. Gives an impression that these plastic glassware has been used since day one and never had a proper cleaning. Advise - do not order drinks on the beach !!! This is NOT Adults Only hotel, kids are everywhere too noisy especially on the beach.

SwitzerlandThe first dinner at buffet, a girl came to our table asking if we would like to get two fresh fruit juice... My girlfriend just say yes so she got it. The juice was good but after some minutes the girl come back asking to pay for it. We felt like scammed, its an all inclusive and she came to us offering it without mentioning it will be at charge. We saw many other customers disappointed for this. You feel like you always have to ask if is included before getting anything. We booked the Egyptian restaurant for 9pm... we got there little bit before and a waiter gave us a table. We got wine. Then after 45 minutes still no one came to get our order, so we left without even eating. The pity is there were not to many customers and many watiers were just chatting inside.
The resort is really great with a wonderful beach. All included services are good and the place is really relaxing. Some of the stuff guys works really a lot and they do a lot to make you feel good. The sea is amazing with a lot of colorful fishes. Paradise Restaurant was great, all the guys there work really hard and always with a smile.

NetherlandsThe number of staff that approached us on our first day there and tried to sell things like spa and salon treatments, scuba diving, parasailing, etc. was overwhelming and they continued trying after we tried to politely decline. After the first day, it was much less intense. Although the spa was nice, the services were overpriced.
Lots of services available from spa to water sports and everything in between. I loved having the adults only option but also being able to use the facilities at the neighboring Baron Resort.

United KingdomThe service in the restaurant can be slow (if you want to have tea/drinks for lunch or dinner, better order right when you come in). Were surprised by the smoke that suddenly covered all the outside area in the evening (it's a good thing, as it is done to prevent mosquitoes) but definitely should be mentioned when people are checking in (uncomfortable to be outside and better close the window). On the way from the hotel to the beach, there are around 10 souvenir shops, which is great if you want to browse, but awful if you're an introvert who doesn't like to be called out to buy stuff (gets really annoying). Overall was a great experience, but could be even better with a few improvements.
The room was great, the view, the pool. Nice bars just outside, where most of the drinks are also part of 'all inclusive'. One of the bars had pool tables available too. Wi-Fi is great (stable), in case you work remotely. A peaceful atmosphere overall. Food was great too, fresh fruits, chocolate fountain every dinner. The meat is not cooked to an amazing standard, but the chicken and fish are great. As were the desserts (and they even had sushi). Evening program was nice, different shows everyday, some really great. Near the pool, there's a stand with the books you can borrow, which is a very nice touch too. As were the Christmas decorations.

RussiaThe smoking is allowed everywhere which makes it really bothering for those who don't smoke - people were smoking in the cafes and even in the pool :( The food was not up to standard of 4 or 5 start hotel - niether the quality not the selection
The hotel has rather small territory - around the pool but really close to the sea with a nice and clean beach. The pool and beach services are really good, staff was helpfull. The sea reef is really close to the beach so you can enjoy snorkling, diving or swimming in the hotel.

United StatesWe tried the lunch and the dinner twice, the food was similar to the food that is served in the jail. We contacted the hotel using Booking to help us to get food delivery, they told us to contact the counter desk. We reached and explained to them that we couldn't eat the food there, we asked to get help with a taxi to the old city to have proper food. The counter desk offered us a Taxi for $40 when the real cost was less than $10. Even arguing didn't help, and we had to find a taxi ourselves. This service is not what is expected from a 5-star hotel, it's a tourist fraud. The bed is hard. We will never get back to this hotel, there is a much better option in Sharm El Sheikh to go to.
The swimming pool was nice, and the breakfast was OK, not more than OK.
