Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandOnce there was an elevator malfunction, and we had to take the stairs.
A room in good standard, clean. Delicious breakfasts, and the view from the terrace of the pyramids is beautiful.

Firstly the kindness and friendliness from every member of staff was top level, honestly the best I have experienced. The complementary pick up from the airport directly to the hotel was such a nice touch and very much appreciated. Whilst staying inside the hotel we felt safe and secure and had no complaints. Breathtaking view of the pyramids from the terrace floor. Small shops near by for a few essentials although the staff did provide multiple bottles of water on arrival and additional if requested. The breakfast was lovely, each morning we would sit on the terrace and would be bought a tray which contained a selection of items (omelet, yogurts, bread, cheese, fruit, juices and tea/coffee) which is just what we needed to start the day. Would highly recommend.

United StatesI just finished a four night stay at the Celia Pyramids View Inn, and it was wonderful. This is my first visit to Egypt and I arrived solo as a woman traveler. I was picked up from the airport, welcomed warmly, provided with a clean and comfortable room and delighted by the breathtaking view of the pyramids from the rooftop. All the staff here are lovely. The gentlemen working the reception are all so kind and polite, going above and beyond to make sure it’s a pleasant stay. I felt like a friend or family among them, and am very grateful to Hossam for lovely conversations at breakfast and making sure I had everything I wanted to eat, Mostafa who works in the day for arranging my tours (which where excellent) and giving me a late checkout and Mostafa who works in the evening for making sure I always had plenty of mint tea and didn’t miss the pyramid light show. And I certainly won’t forget Sugar, the beautiful and charming hotel cat - who is the absolute STAR of Egypt and might be more enticing than the great sphinx 😻 I highly recommend this hotel and will be glad to stay here again when I return to Giza. Thanks for everything Celia staff, you are the best 💫♥️

HungaryEscalator is a bit scary at the beginning, but we got used to it. Would be nice to have a shoe brush in the room, the dessert and streets around are quite dusty
The view is breathtaking, right in front of the pyramids. Staff were wonderful. Room is in a good size, clean and comfy. Hot water is good, wifi is strong, lights, kettle, fridge, hairdryer all worked. Nothing to complain.

"I travel to many places around the world! And seriously! The space is by far one of the best places I've had the pleasure of staying! But what makes the hotel absolutely amazing is the people who are there to literally make your stay in Egypt unforgettable and unbelievable at the same time! And believe me, the wonderful view of the pyramids that the hotel has becomes secondary compared to the entire experience that the staff provided us! Our dear Mostafa, 'Mayo' for close friends, and his entire team were absolutely incredible! To the point where we didn't want to leave! They were amazing, from the reception, through the round-trip airport transportation, to arranging a trustworthy and equally amazing tour guide, 'Saber Huber'. My family and I, a group of nine people, are in love with Egypt and its people because of the individuals who served us in this hotel with so much love and dedication! Oh! And when you go, don't forget to ask for the incredible 'Suggar'!"

United StatesThe elevator up is a little old and rickety. Again, fine for me, but I could see it bothering some.
Was originally in a room with no windows but they upgraded me to a room with a balcony and view of the pyramids. Beautiful! Note that this spot is pretty far from the pyramids and manages the view by being on the 10th+ floor. I liked that it was away from the hustle and bustle (and right by a grocery store) but others may not. Great breakfast on the roof!

NetherlandsThe view from the rooftop terrace of the hotel is beautiful. The staff really made our stay comfortable and pleasant. They were available 24/7, arranged tours for us and even our train tickets were picked up at the train station by one of the staff members. Hosam gave us a great tour of the area around the hotel. He was really friendly and told us a lot about the area. The two cousins, both named Mustafa, were very friendly and helpful at the front desk. They spoke English very well and were able to help us a lot. Also, Ahmed & Mizo were always providing good service. Serving food and drinks and always making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel because of the great Piramids view from the terrace, but foremost because of the great, helpfull and friendly staff!

FranceIf you're noise sensitive at night, maybe take precautions because the city itself can be noisy.
Everything was perfect from A to Z. The staff was very thoughtful and cared a lot about our wellbeing there, offered us a soft drink and a beautiful in-room birthday decoration. The view in the room and on the rooftop is incredible, as well as the breakfast which is very complete. Special thanks to the receptionist who gave us tips to find a main entrance to the Pyramids and how to reach it. Even wrote a note in Arabic to give to our driver. Would 100% come back and recommend.

United StatesThe entire staff was amazing! From the time of booking they were quick to respond to our messages. They arranged for airport pickup. Their breakfast was delicious, and we sat every morning looking at the pyramids. They supplied unlimited tea and water at no cost. The room was clean and comfortable. Mustafa at reception was extremely helpful with recommendations on the best places to eat, how to get around and the sights we couldn’t miss. He was always available to answer questions. The entire staff made us feel at home.
