Very comfortable bed and soft pillows. Large shower with strong water flow. Decent breakfast. Located on side street off the souq with no traffic, so quiet except for barking dogs, which I don’t think the hotel can do anything about.

Location was very good, walking distance from Station, Boat/cruise is also walking distance, Hotels are available nearby. Hotel was clean and no noise.

DenmarkThe breakfast was not the best and could be improved. The change that we didn't get when we paid for our room. Price was 128usd and we gave 130usd. We never got the change in any currency. It's a small amount and but it's not great nonetheless.
The location was great next to the souk, the train station and the Nile. We also like that is was clean and in fine condition .Our room was fully tiled. The staff was very friendly.

GermanyI don't think I can point out any major downsides. Sometimes locals may come up to you on the street and try to get some tips for nothing) But they're not very intrusive and after polite 'la shukran' they leave.
Very hospitable guys at the reception, special thanks to Omnia! They helped us get an early breakfast even though it was not included in the booking. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable.

I didn't stay for breakfast as we went to Abu Simbel Temple as early at 4:00am. The staff in reception was nice and friendly. it would be better if they worked more efficiently. The location is very convenience. you can take a walk along with Nile River. close to Train Station, to Market and everything.

we had a bit of a bumpy start at check in staff was amazing in fixing our issues and make our stay as pleasant as possible. thanks to the lovely Mona, Omnia and Karim at reception they made sure we are comfortable and happy, always welcoming with lovely smiles I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. also the location is amazing with souvenirs markets next door and 3 minutes walk to train station, not many good restaurants around though.

United KingdomThe unwanted wake up call that we suspect was because we didnt give backshish to the cleaner - just do your job and dont look at us like a walkimg ATM. We allready paid for all hotel services in the booking. The breakfast isnt great, we could of been served local flat bread and lentil soup would of been better and cheaper, it was winter at the time. But really not a big deal for our stay in particular.
Very central location, being walkable from the train station in 5 mins, it is also on the souks door step. The staff here are great and dont try to rip you off unlike the other hotels we stayed in. Aladin ( the young nubian guy on reception) was extremely knowledgeable about the local area and the culture/attractions. We will definatly stay here again when we come back to aswan... Seems like the best hotel around after speaking to guests from other hotels.

United KingdomThe WiFi didn't work anywhere even the lounge area which they said would. The place could do with an upgrade as the furniture and doors aren't the sturdiest and it would benefit from some painting too. Only one of the two lifts worked and it could be quite intimidating as you have to open a door to get in and get out of it. The area around it isn't very scenic, nor are the views from the hotel room. The ac in my room was quite loud but it worked fine, except its facing the bed directly so cold air blew into my face all night.
The Management was very friendly and willing to help us with all our plans. They seemed very professional and immediately upgraded our rooms as we got there. They even prepared us a breakfast pack when we were heading out early the next morning. The hotel isn't very modern, has keys rather than key cards but they do their best to keep it clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and good running water. Cleopatra is right in the heart of the souk/market so you're right where the action is.
