Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandThe team were very friendly and welcoming. They were available on WhatsApp when we had any questions and they organised our complimentary airport transfer. Our airport driver Mustafa was very knowledgeable and he took time to point out all the stops on our way to the hotel. The booking process and communication was stress-free and we really enjoyed our time in this hotel. They organised a trip for us to the Nile River Dinner Cruise and our driver Islam was extremely friendly and accomodating. He showed us how they do it in Cairo and took us to a cafe on the way home l. Moreover, the views of the pyramids from the terrace and rooftop were unbelievable. There is not a more majestic backdrop for having your breakfast in the whole world. Our expectations were truly matched and more!

GreeceWhile our stay had some highlights, there were several aspects that didn’t quite meet our expectations. The room, although spacious, lacked the level of cleanliness we would have hoped for. The photos online were a bit misleading compared to the actual conditions. Breakfast, while generous, was nothing remarkable and only available to us on the first day. Unfortunately, during Ramadan, early morning prayer calls made it difficult to sleep, as the room wasn't well soundproofed. The biggest drawback was the neighborhood—it was loud, dirty, and not particularly welcoming. We wouldn’t choose to stay in this part of Giza again and would look for accommodation in a different area of Cairo next time.
We appreciated the warm hospitality and friendliness of the staff during our stay in Giza. Everyone at the hotel went out of their way to make us feel welcome and assist with anything we needed. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, offering plenty of room to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The price was very reasonable, especially for the time of year, and one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. We also liked that breakfast was served individually and generously portioned. The hotel is just a short distance from the Pyramids, which was convenient for sightseeing. Overall, the staff’s kindness and the affordability made our stay memorable in its own way.

IrelandOne of the beds was with really soft and wobbly mattres, all my body was aching. The windows were single glazed, so even on the 10th floor we could hear bangs, dogs fights and other crazy noises during the night as if they were beside us. The all area was like that, very dirty too, but not the host fault.
The host and the staff were really good and attentive , food was nice and the view of the pyramids from the room and the roof top was just amazing. The room had everything you would need and was huge with a little balcony. Their driver met us at the airport he was good and friendly too. Pyramids were 15 mins walk away and there was a shop just beside the hotel for little bits you might need.

GermanyEverything in Egypt feels like a tourist trap: some of the services the hotel offered us (taxi transfer, food) were really crazy in terms of prices (17$ for grilled chicken or 30$ for a taxi back and forth was way too much in our opinion). We stayed only one night tho, so overall ok.
The hotel is located very close to the pyramids, in a crowded street. The room was big and had a balcony, which we liked. We also enjoyed the view from the terrace and the welcome food they offered us upon arrival.

United KingdomThe bed wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked but that's a personal preference, and the signage at the front of the Hotel wasn't as clear as the initial photos suggested.
Staff were extremely helpful with organising Drivers and could do enough to make our stay great, the rooms were serviced very quickly and were very clean

GermanySmoking is allowed everywhere Egypt. So the smell might go to the room if people smoke on the common balcony … but only in the room we had, as it had a door towards the balcony.
The Hotel was very nice. I had booked quite a few months in advance and had an unbeatable price. We were 2 adults & 2 kids. The room was big and the toilet too. We had a door which led to the shared balcony where there was a view to the pyramids. The breakfast was tasty & sufficient. Hanim - she was very friendly and gave us many tips and showed us a nice restaurant. The guy who checked is in ( unfortunately I forgot his name ) was also very very nice. We were 10 persons travelling and he made sure we get the rooms on one floor. The View from the common balcony is unbeatable.

LatviaSoma bathroom facilities must be repaired. Entrance to the hotel is somewhat worrying.
We had a large room with exit to the terrace. The most valuable feature of this hotel is a terrace on roof of the building, from where you freely observe pyramids.

IrelandBuilding is outdated and hotel on 12th floor, can’t walk around hotel really but the view makes up for it!
From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly and went above and beyond to make our stay truly special. Their dedication to providing exceptional service was evident in every interaction. One of the highlights of our stay was the breathtaking view of the pyramids from our room. Waking up to such a magnificent sight was a dream come true. The room itself offered incredible value, providing both comfort and luxury without breaking the bank. Amazing value for money with this hotel! In the midst of a bustling city, this hotel served as a perfect resting spot. It allowed us to unwind and relax after a day of exploring. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and rejuvenating experience. Uber is your best friend in Cairo remember that!! - follow us on YouTube/Instagram — @finandmeg

SpainWe thinks it’s a good budget option. The people that work there are very nice and helpful, and the views of the pyramids from the terrace are breathtaking. Breakfast and food in general are good. But the noise from the streets is very loud (dogs, cars…) and we had to buy earplugs to be able to sleep, so there should be better isolation in the windows. Also, our shower had a leak at its base which meant that floor of the toilet was always wet after each shower. The cleaning was ok but it could be better.

GreeceThe location of the hotel is 30 minutes away from the center. Which would not be a problem if the application for the uber was faster or if the driving in general was more cautious in the capital. Also locating the hotel is difficult as the hotel is the last two floors of a high building. These are not the hotels fault though.
From the moment that we arrived we were welcomed warmly. The room were very convenient and spacious. The people working there felt like a family and treated us nicely. They also can communicate in English which is not very common otherwise. The view is amazing and the balcony was maintained and kept clean all the time! The neighbour is quiet and quite clean. And we felt no danger walking around. Also, there are a few good restaurants around to eat. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

HungaryWe asked the staff for help where we can find a souvenir shop in the area where we can buy a gift. they took us to an acquaintance of theirs who they told he sells it at a better price than in other shops. Nevertheless, he asked for higher price than the other shops, and when we got back to the hotel we opened it and saw that the products were of poor quality and broken. We felt we were cheated by the staff that they took us there.
The view of the rooftop was amazing, great view of the pyramids. The staff was very kind. The breakfast was also ok
