We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe streets might be a little bit chaotic when we walked from the hotel to the pyramids for dinner. Oh well, it let us experienced the true side of Egypt with cars honking, locals crossing the busy streets, tuk tuk snaking along the streets. Besides, the toilet does flood at times but it is not a big deal.
Free airport shuttle as we stayed more than three nights. This is a family run business and the staff Ahmad is a really nice and friendly guy. The view from the terrace is amazing with no other building blocking the view of the pyramids. Breakfast was fabulous as well with lots of variety. The magical part is having breakfast with the pyramid in view! There is also a fruit juice stall close to the hotel which is opened at night, cheap and yummy! We did not book the tours with the hotel and we have soon regretted it as the private tour that we booked with get your guide was really bad as there are many hidden prices to be paid while we are at the pyramids. We complained to Ahmad and know that if we book with the tour with the hotel, the whole experience would be better. We also went to the pyramid at night for the sound and light show (about 20 minutes chaotic walk to the pyramid) and it was truly amazing to see pyramid lit up at night.

HungaryEverything was beyond wonderful, we loved every minute of our stay. Thank you!
It was a wonderful experience. We booked the VIP room, and it exceeded all our expectations. We prepared ourselves to a bad neighbourhood and a place that is hard to find, but it was easy to spot, as there are signs next to the door and the neighbourhood is not bad at all, everyone was kind and helpful around, taxi drivers found it easily. The transfer was smooth that they provided from the airport to the hotel and back. The room itself was clean, cosy, and had an amazing view to the pyramids, in the photos it seemed to be further away. We loved every minute of our stay. The staff was amazing, just like the food, the breakfast is rich and provides many different flavours, and their pizza is also very nice, we ate there every night, as it had a perfect view on the balcony and the guys put their hearts out to fulfil every one of our needs. One night we got a fruit salad with our pizza, and it was the BEST that I have ever tasted. I miss it every single day since then, no kidding.

Australia—
The place has many things I liked, but the true highlight is its outstanding hospitality. The hotel staff make you feel like part of their family, taking care of you and assisting with whatever you need during your stay. The rooms are exactly what you need—very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is complete, and you get the best view of the pyramids. I will definitely come back, whether with friends or family. I highly recommend this hotel. They picked us up from the airport in the early morning and helped us check in ahead of time. Everything was great with this place—thank you so much!

United Kingdomnothing, everything was great.
The breakfast spread the hotel delivered every morning was exceptional, it was a large variety of food and drinks available. The location of the hotel was amazing and the view from the terrace of the pyramids was breathtaking, perfect for photos and just to admire whilst eating. On our first night we were given a complimentary dinner of koshary, a famous Egyptian dish which we tried for the first time and it was delicious. the hospitality was the best we ever received. The hotel staff truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and made our stay. For my sisters birthday they even went out the way to provide a cake at short notice, which was a lovely touch to the day. The room was very large for our party of 4, we had ample space in the room and a private balcony, with a beautiful bathroom and the most comfortable beds, as well as a great air conditioner which was needed in the Egyptian heat! Every time we went to sit on the terrace to enjoy the view we were immediately offered beverages of any choice, the hospitality is 10/10 and staff are very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel and if I ever return to Cairo this will be the first place I book to stay in. If you ever find this hotel fully booked try the Taj Pyramids View Inn, it is owned by the same owners so expect the same amazing hospitality and rooms there.

United StatesWhat a beautiful place to be while you’re visiting the Cairo. Don’t be fooled by area’s surroundings, it is safe and people around you won’t bother or harass you. Find the hotel a little bit tricky I wish they invest more in sign but once you get there you are completely safe. Hotel owner and staff is awesome, they can fix any problem for you, just tell them and consider it is done. They arrange free transportation from their hotel to the airport. It was a mini van and it looked like a business class. And prise, I could not believe my eyes that that price possible considering being close to pyramids. Would I stay here again ? Yes. Thanks guys.

The staff at the crowne pyramids inn.... As a man who is never short of words, this one time in my life I am speechless. The hospitality is hospitality from the Gods. And just when you thought that was all, they add another layer. And then when you thought that was all, they add another layer. But when you thought that was it, they reveal to you that, they were just getting warmed up and that was just the ground level/the base of their pyramid of success suggest you bring your team to Egypt and learn. Yes, what we do in the U.S. is good but for someone who has visited Paris, Germany, Switzerland, Venice, Rome and a dozen counties in the Caribbean, I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED this level of compassion and benevolence. 10 years from now, hospitality standard will be graded by Egyptian standards, or it will not be credible. Oh and one last thing, the kids in the community around the hotel and beautiful and blessed. They embody and entrepreneurship spirit even at a young age. Hospitality and entrepreneurship is written into the very fabric of the society. I will be back next year and every year until I leave this earth. And the in the After life I'm going back to Egypt

MexicoI loved this place and will stay here again! Its looks small from the outside, but it is not. The staff here is phenomenal!! We arrived at 4:30 am and were promptly taken care of, being taken to the rooftop restaurant for a lemon mint welcome drink. Yum! The room was very nice, bathroom a,little small but we weren't in the room long anyway. Room and entire hotel was very clean. The staff at the restaurant were incredible, especially a lady and her brother who work there. ( sorry, I can't remember their names) They arranged for us to have a front table to watch the light show. The food was fresh and very tasty too! And the view! Wow!!! You can't get any better than this! Thank you to all staff helped to make our stay fabulous!

ChinaThere are cockroaches in the room, and the elevator was many years ago. The elevator is very dangerous. The breakfast is very stale and unclean. Only two rooms can see the pyramids, and the others can't. The rooms are also randomly assigned. It is very likely that there will be no room to see the pyramids. In short, I will definitely not go to this hotel next time.
It's a long distance from the pyramid, but you still need to take a taxi.

I recently stayed at this hotel and it was far better than I had anticipated. The highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking view of the pyramids right from my room. Waking up to such a magnificent sight every morning was an incredible experience. For the price, the comfort level was exceptional. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was very comfortable, and all the amenities were provided as described. The staff was friendly and always ready to assist with any requests or questions. The location was convenient, allowing easy access to local attractions and transportation. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing and welcoming, making my stay extremely enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. It offers great value for money with the added bonus of an unforgettable view of the pyramids.

United KingdomThere is only 1 VIP room. I hope more VIP rooms can be made which I’m sure more customers would book and enjoy their stay. Breakfast could have a bit more variety like toast and croissants. And the wifi would be improved.
My friend and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and we had a wonderful time. Really grateful and thankful for the lovely kind staff (Ahmed, Adel, Islam, kitchen staff, everyone who helped). The owner Mr Ahmed was very welcoming and accommodating, he made sure we were comfortable and took care of us. We had a complimentary airport pick up which was good, especially as it was our first time in Giza. There is a nice view of the pyramids from the rooms. Our rooms were upgraded and I’m so grateful for the hotel’s service. The watermelon was also delicious!
