Honestly, it is a comfortable place and the feeling that you are at home and Mr. David Management hostel and he is honest and hospitable person and helps guests clearly to spend and enjoying a happy vacation. thx Mr. David for everything and your supporting .

- we could not book an initially advertised and offered trip for incomprehensible reasons concerning the fact that only one of us had done the booking - no soap, the toilet shower did not work - hard bed - it is a local, residential area, but you are woken up in the morning by the kids that go to the school in the adjacent building - welcoming was short, not all things explained, I had to ask about things specifically (WiFi, laundry service...) - it is called a hostel but doesn't really have a hostel vibe, no inside area to meet and connect for all, it is an apartment building, the place consists of several apartments inside the building

- free laundry service - free tea and coffee outside, kitchen to use inside - clean - late check-in possible - free ride downtown, that was nice

WiFi isn’t the best, but works. (though that’s been most of Egypt)

Basic accommodations in a decent location: not luxury but clean/comfortable enough for the price. All the reviews are right…The real reason to stay here is David: the most friendly and helpful man in all of Egypt, maybe all of Africa.

The location of the hostel is perfect and we can go to the city via mini bus. Also the hostel is clean, the hosts David and Marina are so helpful. David was able to arrange the tours for us and if not he would tell us the best way to do the tourist spot. He made sure we have our breakfast daily even though we were waking up early and moving around. I found this to be the best and reasonably priced hostel. I would recommend this to everyone who is visiting Aswan.

If the hot water has run out down stairs there is a second bathroom on the 1st floor that has an instant gas water heater. Any issues just ask David and he immediately sorts them out.

David and the family are the best hosts just unbelievably helpful and kind. Can't recommend this hostel enough. Great place to meet other travelers as we usually pick the cheapest.

The only small downsize is the location.But after you get familiar with the local transport it will be not a problem at all....and for this thing also David will help you.

Dave the owner/operator is a honest/very helpful person. I found 2 people in Egypt that I semi trusted over almost 2 weeks here and Dave was one of them. From housing to tours/travel, Dave will do his best to help. Highly recommended.

David is probably the best guy I’ve ever met in this country. His price is solid and no and negotiation needed, fluent English and helpful personality. Even if you don’t live in this place I would still recommend him as guide if possible.

Nice staff, very easy and affordable to organize day tours in Aswan or to Abu Simbel. The room was as expected, for the price you pay for a private room you really can't ask for more than this.

No door on "private" bathroom, garden area is covered in dust, breakfast was just bread.

Reasonably cheap, local area where people don't rip you off. David is a helpful host and speaks fluent English.

Bit noisy at night but due to construction as opposed to hostel itself. Out of the town but not an issue as David helps you get around as needed!

David and Mariana are amazing, especially at organised activities. Loved breakfast. Other great people staying here too… it attracts the right people and feels like home! Local neighbourhood with very friendly people too.
