Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Our room was large, clean and tidy, bed was very firm so good for us. Fantastic balcony view of the pyramids, breakfast was very good uninterrupted views of the pyramids. Staff and owners are extremely helpful. The star rating should be higher for this hotel.

NetherlandsShower area in the bathroom does not have an enclosure or a curtain. So the water just spreads all over making it very inconvenient. Even the shower head was really old. So just one shower , then its so difficult to use the bathroom afterwards as its full of water.
Highlight - Pyramid view. Sunset view of the pyramids from this property and from the room is amazing. Its easy to find, its not on one of the streets right near the pyramid where its just so crazy all the time. This area is a bit more quiet - so its more convenient. Though not far away still. Breakfast - Extremely simple. 1 Omelette, few breads , one dip and some cheese. So its really simple breakfast. We booked a room with the pyramid view - so it was excellent. Lift is available to your floor - so its convenient. Staff - Super nice, they allowed me to do a very early check in.

Had a wonderful stay! The terrace offers an amazing view of the pyramids, and the breakfast was great. The staff was very supportive and even arranged a half-day Giza tour on short notice. Only suggestion—WiFi could be improved.

UkraineWe were staying at the 14 floor, and had I guess one of the most amazing views you can have in Giza Pyramids area. They let us check in earlier and check out later, as we uad our buses. WiFi worked, during the day time it was even fast (and you can choose from a few). A lot of shops around but the area is not crazy like that super near to the pyramids (with horses, camels chickens and all of their dump). I really recommend! *Upd: pyramids look much smaller on photos but they are really big.

FranceThe neighbourhood isn’t particularly fancy to say the least, but it is close to the pyramids and that’s what we wanted.

United StatesMemphis is lame except for one statute of Ramses II. Better to stick around the hotel then go there. Sakarna tho is beautiful and in the same area so only go to Memphis if also going there.
I visited the Gardenia View Inn while visting Egypt from Texas in December. It's images will forever be engraved on my mind! Panoramic views of the immencity of Cairo would usually kill any competitor but BEHOLD! It also has direct, red hot, otherworldly and PROFOUND views of the Great Pyramids of Giza. From its relaxing roof top restaurant and personal balconies all you can do is just gawk. Really, I wish I could spend many weeks just there looking! All this for a very affordable rate and free breakfast too! The owner Mohamed is fantastic and has great personal integrity and care for customers. Shootout to Omar the hotel driver who took me on an incredible dirt bike ride around the Pyramids and to the knowledgeable and highly English fluent guide who showed me around the day before his first daughter was born! Other guests included a group of middle aged salary man from Japan. The hotel is in a residential district of Cairo and occupies several floors of a condominium. Egypt is safe for tourists and foreign tourists walk around all hours of the night with expensive camera equipment without issue. Enrich yourself with an amazing experience and checkout this hotel. I'll definitely be back during my next trip to Egypt!

Perfect stay for whoever wants an easy but adventurous trip to Egypt. Marvelous view on the Pyramids, good breakfast and dinners and honest proces. We were a Group of 12 travelling from Giza to Bahariya, we had issues with our rented cars and Mohammed provided us with all the support we needed with great insight and really recommended us good. I cannot stress this enough, if you need trusty indications on what to do and how to manage your transfers you can rely on Mohammed and all of the personnell of the Gardenia
