Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe had a wonderful stay at the Palace. Breakfast was HUGE! So fill up if you’re going on any trips. Staff all super helpful. Area is quiet but safe. ATM nearby and a kiosk. Only issue was Wifi was intermittent so if you are relying on this … this would be an issue. Thanks for a fab stay!

United KingdomThere was nothing in the area, just rubble and construction. nothing walking distance although taxi's were cheap. On bookings they advertise money exchange, a billiards table and other stuff that they do not provide. I did manage to get some money exchanged as a favour by the owner.
Staff were really nice, helpful and went out of their way for you.

New ZealandYou had to order food an hour before receiving it. The water tank isn't big enough to allow 3 people to have a hot shower.
The receptionist and staff were wonderful and nice. The Manager was always available to help organize activities. The location was very quiet.

IrelandI can highly recommend this boutique hotel. The Manager and Staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly. I couldn't fault the facilities or location, very close to the Pyramids and GEM. Great place to stay with beautiful rooms and the best breakfast I've ever had. Will definitely come back here. 5 stars all the way.

United KingdomNothing is a criticism below. It''s more to be aware of, as this place really was a wonderful stay and I would absolutely recommend it. We actually cancelled another hotel, as we realised there can be a bit of a scam in Cairo where they post false reviews. Please check google, trip advisor, and booking.com together as we had a lucky escape! But the lucky part was finding Giza Palace Pyramid View!! What a result. Only down side is that the breakfast could have had some fruit or fresh juice, but you can buy this for extra. They take a long time to make the drinks, often because they don't have the fruit in. However, the drinks are delicious when they arrive. Same with the evening meals. Assume c. 1hr at least, but if you have factored this in, it is great. Ideally, order food when the lovely ladies are still working until 17:00 (ish), as they are very quick to serve you, so it comes out hot. I would say we have found it to be normal not to do fresh fruit juice and fruit for breakfast, despite all the amazing cheap fruit availabl, so I assume this is because of people wasting it.
We loved our 4 night stay at Giza Palace Pyramid View. A peaceful oasis just outside the main tourist area of Giza. It took max 10 -15 minutes in an uber to drive to the Pyramids (remember to ask for the main entrance). A bit longer to the amazing GEM Museum (extremely worthwhile) and 20 - 30 minutes into downtown Cairo to do King Tutankhamen. The breakfast was amazing! Now we are in Luxor I am really missing it. We ate all the raw vegetables that came with breakfast and everything was washed fresh, so no sickness bugs. We also ordered the evening meals (my grilled fish was really good). Everyone liked it. Kids loved the pasta (and I have very picky kids). They offered lots of tours, but we chose to just uber direct. We didn't get a guide and in hindsight one for the GEM would have been good. Assume several hours for the GEM. We had 3hrs and stayed to eat as well. If we didn't have the kids we'd definitely have done some of the trips and the night cruise, but with the kids it wasn't worth it for us. Central Giza is almost as busy and crazy traffic as Cairo, so it was so nice being slightly further out. Just a couple on minutes to walk to a very safe ATM (police there all the time). I'd say we are hardened travellers, don't mind haggling and tend to be savy to a hustle, but I was glad we were not in the thick of it. Our uber cost less than £1.50 each time. The drivers where always nice and wanted the good reviews. Very comfortable beds. Good hot showers. We had a bath as well, which was nice for the kids. We used the air conditioning unit to heat the room as it was cold at night. Soon nice and warm. Pool spotless. Obviously cold in February, but my kids got in all the same. I took shortie wetsuits for the kids, which was such a brilliant decision in the end. No burning and loads of warm fun in the Pool. That's it, I can't think of anything else to write. Very safe area, very nice hotel, friendly staff. Loved it.
