Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyI gave 8 stars instead of 10 because 1. There seemed to be a leakage in bathtub in Room 304 because every time we took a shower or when we just washed out feet (without using the shower head thus no splashing), we saw water leaking out slowly from somewhere under the bathtub 2. I personally prefer stairs but the only access they have for guests is an elevator. But it's only a personal preference. So I am sure if you are someone who does not prefer stairs to elevators and if you get a room without water leakage (surely our room is an exception), it will be a 10-star experience.
The views are great, both from our room and the rooftop. The pyramids are not only close, the way to them is easy. The breakfast was amazing, everything was freshly prepared and VERY DELICIOUS! Mr Tarek is always smiling and ready to help. There is a small shop open 24/7 just next to the entrance to the hotel. I don't understand why a lot of people say the hotel is difficult to find: the sign is visible and all Uber drivers we engaged could find the hotel. People also complain about the noise from the main street, but we had no problems (if you're a light sleeper, you should have a solution for yourself such as bringing your own earplugs). By the way, the water pressure is really good!

United StatesThe road below is a main road and can get noisy from the honking. also a little crazy to try and cross it. it was a little tough to find the entrance even for my taxi driver as there was a tree blocking the sign.
the view from the roof is spectacular and totally worth it for that. the staff are also amazing and went out of the way to help. I did use the tour guide service that they offer. The driver was fantastic both days i had him, he made sure i was happy with everything and stepped in when he noticed i wasnt comfortable negotiating with a shop keeper and got me out of there. the second day i was there i had an additional tour guide with the driver that took me places and explained the area. very nice guy and everyone knew who he was made getting into places easier. how accurate his knowledge is, well ill leave others to decide that. overall great experience and would definitely come back. breakfast was delicious, i do wish you guys would a little bit more with dinner.

United StatesWould give it a higher rating, but the block lost power the last night there. Wasn't hotel's fault, just the location on the somewhat unreliable power grid.
Close to Pyramid complex. Tarek was over and above helpful with any arrangements we needed to make.

Japanwater pressure in the shower. It stinks when the bathroom light is turned on and it is ventilated.
There was a room with a view of the pyramids, a rooftop with a view of the pyramids, a kind staff, and a delicious breakfast. There was no staff who could speak Japanese, but they were kind. The amount of water in the shower is small. It was nice to have a bathtub. Wi-Fi was not connected due to provoider problem. It's not the inn's fault, but I'm glad I bought a sim card at the airport. The private guide is also a very good guide who can speak Japanese, and it was the best with this person. The driver I asked for was also kind. Stay only in Cairo for a short stay, if you are Japanese, we recommend this place.

PhilippinesStayed here during our first night in Egypt. It was really a good value for money. Room was clean and big for 2 person. Staff were very hospitable and welcoming. The place/room felt secure and of course, the rooftop was superb plus the breakfast provided was really good with the view of the pyramids from the background.

Staff was outstanding, the tour the hotel offered of Northern Egypt was exceptional and very economical. For $325 I saw the Pyramids in Giza, Saqqara, Memphis, the Egyptian Civilizations Museum and Khan El-Khalili. Then they took me to Alexandria and I saw the Catacombs, Citadel of Quaitbay and there was an option to go into the Library of Alexandria. Lastly they took me on a Nile River Dinner cruise with live performances which was outstanding. Isaac the tour guide was amazing and passionate. He imparted me with much knowledge. Tarek delivered the best costumer service of any hotel or business I have ever come into contact with. It is a five-star hotel at the price of a 3-star Hotel. The staff besides Tarek were outstanding. The room was very clean and very comfortable, the breakfast every morning was delicious with a gorgeous view of the pyramids. I highly recommend the hotel and the tour, you won't regret it.
