Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

EgyptIt was written that the room has many things like hairdryer, iron, living room, and it'll be spacious but actually they show us two rooms & make us choose one. Actually both rooms were too small( they were nothing Ike the pictures on the application) with no view and just have a bathroom. The condition of the room wasn't the best but it was clean and have a screen & an AC. The bathroom was clean but had many problems that we call the room service and they came with a plumber to fix the situation.
The room service were very fast, helpful and very friendly. The stuff members were very responsive. The view on the rooftop was amazing. The restaurant was very good to be on the roof top but the food needs more care.

United KingdomThe wifi was poor with the only place with slow access was reception. Breakfast wasn’t to my taste. We arrived late at night and we were sent to a different hotel for the first night. The view from the balcony was great and it didn’t bother me however I can see how some may be disappointed with this.
The view from the rooftop was exceptional and a reason as lone to stay at this property. if the reason you have come to the hotel is to see the pyramids you will not be disappointed. Free airport pick up was fantastic for an early morning flight

United KingdomFirst, beware - other reviews may not be genuine, my colleague had hers faked by the property after leaving. On the hotel itself, the wifi is awful - barely useable and you certainly can't make any video calls etc from it. My AC unit was very tempremental, turning itself off frequently, and at one point throwing large chunks of ice all over the floor. The rooms themselves are fairly run down, furniture is badly worn, and one of the beds in my room had sheets which didn't fit the mattress, barely covering the top of it. The staff left our rooms unlocked after cleaning more than once. The room was also extremely noisy. Some of this isn't the fault of the hotel - the area itself is very busy, with lots of shouting, barking dogs, traffic, horses, etc. However my room was underneath the terrace, and the sound of chairs and tables being dragged over the floor transmits straight into the room until late at night. The area itself is probably only for the adventurous/confident traveller - very busy and noisy, pretty dirty, packs of dogs, loads of horses and camels, and with lots of people constantly trying to sell you stuff - though generally in a friendly way.
You get what you pay for. This was a perfectly fine room for the price. Good size, and of course an awesome view of the Pyramids. The roof terrace is lovely and you can see the light show (not that it is particularly great) from it for free every night. The shower is good, beds pretty comfy, and staff are nice and my room was generally reasonably clean. Breakfast is OK.

PolandWaiter at the terrace bar who was offerring alcohol unofficially at a price twice as high as at the local liquor shop two blocks away.
The staff is helpful and nice in general, as for Egyptian standards - very good. There was slight problem with my room. I came a bit later than expected due to my flight delay and the man at the reception desk told me that he is going to locate me - for one night - at "our extension across the street". It ocurred to be completely different hotel, but I got a nicer room with great pyramids view. I asked the reception employee if he simply had gave my room to someone else, thinking I'm not gonna come anymore and he confirmed it :) The next day I had to come in the morning for the breakfast to my hotel and then, at about noon, come again to get my room. It was a little bit uncomfortable but I just left my luggage at the reception and went sightseeing and got my room whe I came back in the evening.

EgyptCheck room cleanliness.
First we were greeted with very friendly staff who were very helpful and efficient. We were shown around hotel and to our room, that was spacious and relatively clean, there was cigarette ash on bathroom floor. We arrived in evening so decided to eat in hotel roof restaurant the food was ok but quite expensive for what it was.... But I would pay just for the amazing view. We slept well, was quiet went to breakfast greeted by the lovely Saber and the manager of hotel, who were very helpful. Breakfast was simple but again the view was enough. Overall great personal service the staff are the best part.

BrazilI had requested the free transfer for those staying more than 3 nights and when I arrived at Cairo airport, at 2am there was no one waiting for me. I had made the request by email. I had to find my way alone at dawn and the hotel is almost 1 hour from the airport.
The location is the strong point of this property. It faces the pyramids and the rooftop is accessible at any time.

United StatesWifi and that the electricity went out in our room many times.
The location was great for our explorations and the hotel staff was absolutely wonderful. The only downside was that the wifi was spotty when I had work emails to deal with and the electricity in our room began to go out often on our third night. The rooftop restaurant was fabulous and the wait staff was so gracious!

PolandThe security deposit didn't work. Our windows were facing a wall with some garbage outside so not the best view...
The staff was really nice. Localisation is just great, next to the pyramids. There's a rooftop bar with great fresh mango juice! We've been lucky to see light show.

United StatesThe hotel offered free pickup from the airport and the driver was over an hour late. I called the hotel several times and I wish they just told me the truth so I would have come by Careem instead of waiting for so long with my elderly parents who were getting impatient. I understand Cairo has bad traffic but the hotel should account for this. I had even messaged them that morning confirming that they would pick me up. The hotel room although large didn't feel clean. It was dingy, sticky and the rug was dirty. The WI-FI is non-existent, even in the lobby and terrace it's barely functional.
The view of the pyramids is breathtaking especially at sunset. The terrace/kitchen staff especially the elderly man were super friendly and nice. There was also an older gentleman at reception desk who was very friendly.
