great location, a short walk from the national museum. and the staff were super helpful. it was my first stop in egypt and when i checked in, he sat with me for 10 minutes and told me all the places to go and gave itinerary advice. good vibe in the hostel.

Breakfast was nice but a little on the small size, it didn't keep us fuelled for long.

In a quiet pedestrian street so the traffic noise was very much reduced. Comfortable beds. Room was spacious with places to store clothes. Good downtown location.

The blanket smells old and stuffy. Luckily it was warm enough not to need it.

Mo was so friendly, especially after traveling for a long day. The common area is super social and it's easy finding people that want to see the pyramids as well. I had a great few days and would definitely come back!

The hostel is located on the third floor of a very old and dirty building with an elevator that is a bit sketchy to use.

Staff is great, very helpful and have the coolest recommendations, always with a smile they make you feel very at home. The owner also knows a lot about the best plans in Egypt and will recommend you great tours. Prices are fair and it would safe you a huge amount of time and planning so it's really worth it. You will get to know the best of Egypt without the hassle. Also breakfast is good :D and it was the best place to meet cool people and a lot of other solo travelers, both a lot of women and men. The Woman's only dorm where I stayed was great since it was calm, clean and met nice friends. Beds are comfy

Cons: Very old Lift sometimes not working, Every day same breakfast and very limited options, 3% extra charged for VISA card payment.

Pros: Location, Spacious Rooms, Cleanliness, Home like atmosphere, nice kitchen with amenities, friendly staff, washroom.

The towels aren't included and the cleanliness of sheets might have been better (found a hair), but stuff is always there to help and change anything you want.

I think I cannot imagine anything better for such price which includes breakfast. Breakfast was really great. Egg, banana, cream cheese, vegetables, coffee (maybe something else I cannot remember). The staff was nice and very helpful. Bed is comfortable too. Cozy place, not noisy, easy to come at any time including night. Laundry was ok (might be better, but the price was nice). Wi-fi was ok for Egypt.

If you want to meet other backpackers, this is the place. Friends for life! The place is cleaned daily and extensively. The common area is calm and relaxing. Cooking spaces and the staff are cool guys! There's no other place I'd go in Cairo.
