Pleasant hotel , we were 7 adults + 3 kids We enjoyed a lot during our 5 days/ 4 nights stay The reception upgraded our garden view rooms with pool view rooms . The stay was great . The staff were very friendly most of them have smiley faces The food was nice , various food types , good taste and good quantities. Very close to the Marina markets and diving centers. We enjoyed to swim amongst colored fish and sea reef

HungarySmoking everywhere outside. The lot of sparrow outside during the meals. Room: missing toilet brush. Lot of guest from the sister hotel (which was a bit annoying because the staff was overwhelmed anyway) Sometimes missed the good music. I will be happy if the management could change on these a little bit. But it is still 10 /10 point. We loved :)
We loved staying in the hotel. I wish I could be there now again :) Very kind staff and management (we loved the birthday cake present and celebration for our daugher, she was so-so happy, many thanks for it:), good food and coctails, beauty and clear room, perfect place for snorkeling (turtles, muraena,pufferfish, nemo fish, blue spotted stingray, dolphins ... everything and more on the house reef). Miss you Mostafa, Mohammed, Ehab, Tamer, pool and jetty guys: Abd, Mostafa, Khalid, Mahmoud and everybody :)

Everything more than perfect. Excellent service, everyone of the staff is incredibly nice, helpful and attentive. They speak a lot of languages and they're always with a smile on their faces. Special mention to Mohammed (the guard of the child's water park). The food is very good, there're always bbq bites and a lot of different kinds and tasty dishes in general. The buffet is amazing. And of course, spectacular the views of the Red Sea and snorkeling on the coral reef right there in the private beach, beachfront pool, beach bar... Better than a 5 stars hotel so far.

ItalyThe lagoon was under maintenance and it was not very clean but we understand that this might be due to reopening after covid, we guess. We stayed at the resort in june and there were not many events, just some brief shows after dinner. However, the overall experience was just great.
The staff was very caring and attentive to details. The room big and clean and the bed really comfortable (although the sink was in the room, that seemed a little strange to us). We had a room with terrace- garden view, and it was quiet and relaxing. In the resort you'll find everything you might need including a bazaar and the all-inclusive formula actually includes all kinds of food and drink (also wine and alcoholic drinks in general) and the staff asks you if you want to drink something while you are sunbathing, so you don't even have to walk to the bar when you're thirsty.

United StatesThe other guests were strangely unfriendly. I was the only person I noticed traveling/eating alone, and not a single guest introduced themselves to me. I do a lot of solo traveling, and I expect those sort of friendly, inclusive introductions to a solo traveler to happen as a matter of course. That has nothing to do with the hotel, of course, but it was a weird aspect of my experience there.
I stayed at The Palace twice--for two days before my diving liveaboard and for another day after. I was totally not expecting such an opulent place, especially not for such a low, all-inclusive price. The buffet meals were terrific. (I'd have preferred more emphasis on local foods, but there was certainly still enough of that to satisfy me.) The staff were extraordinary--friendly, helpful, charming. When I returned after my diving trip, I was greeted by name and upgraded to a gorgeous suite with a private garden facing the pool and the Red Sea. So it far, far exceeded my expectations. By the way, I was also the only USAmerican there. Even the taxi driver who took me to the airport when I was leaving said, "Wow, how'd you even hear about Marsa Alam? Americans always go to the Nile Valley or to Hurghada but never come here!"

Staff! I was absolutely amazed by the kindness of all the employees. I am a frequent traveler and I must say that this was a great surprise. The rooms were clean, food and drinks in a great variety.. the sweet pastry bar during dinner and lunch also surprising. Pool clean. I saw several times a man taking samples from all pools. The sea from was clean, we managed to see dolphins and octopus right in front of the hotel.

The rooms are spacious and have a nice style. The All inclusive experience is very good and the variety of food is serious and not trivial as in some other hotels: snacks iclude burgers, shawarma, pasta and fries ..A variety of restaurants shared between the 3 pickalbatros hotels in Port Ghaleb The coral reef is exceptional .. one of the best in Egypt..with available snorkling gear. The staff is exceptionally helpfull, friendly and responsive .. from the reception to the housekeeping to the restaurants.. I particularly appreciated dealing with Mr. Ibrahim Dardeer, Mr. Mina and the guest relation Ms. Seham .. these ones and many others were welcoming, cheerful and cooperative .. and what I liked most about them us their honest response whenever we faced any minor issue, which was conveniently solved.. We, as a family usually difficult to satisfy, really enjoyed our stay and asked to extend our stay
