Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BrazilBreakfast was very average and lacking variety. They ran out of milk too! The breakfast room is small and lacking quantity of tables for the size of property. The pool is only for decoration and you have to walk 10 minutes to another property to use their pool. (Which I never did) The room I stayed in was renovated and nicely laid out but I didn't like the smell, it smelt like camels. I asked the staff if the bed head was made from camel skin but they thought it was the glue used on the recently renovated feature wall by bed. But I'm not so sure about that. Their was renovation going on around the hotel. I was only their one night, but anyone staying longer then it might get annoying. A few of the staff kept asking me to give them a 10 rating on booking.com. They kept pestering me to the point it got really annoying, it seemed that's all they were concerned about. I had to be abrupt at one point because they were being pushy. The roof top bar doesn't have much of a sunset as trees are in way and sun sets away from pyramids. Lighting show is on other side of pyramids, so at night you can't see anything.
Rooms were nicely renovated and comfortable. The lobby was modern and nicely presented. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. The staff organized a tour driver for the pyramids at no charge, which I greatly appreciated. Property was close to pyramids.

United KingdomThe pool within the complex was not very inviting and it was not clear if this was for hotel guests or more private. That is the only minor confusion we had.
Staff were amazingly welcoming and helpful at every moment and allowed us to thoroughly take advantage of our time by the Pyramids.

AustraliaWe liked everything. The hotel was quiet, your rooms private and well kept. The air conditioning was enjoyed and appreciated. Oh and the block out curtains were great as we travelled through the night and needed sleep during the day.
I made an error with my booking and the gentleman in charge, Khalifa, allowed us to have an earlier check in, which was extremely kind of him. The staff were always willing to help and when we arrived and departed, they rushed to assist with our luggage. Our rooms were very clean (cleaning was offered each day) and had all we needed, and I can honestly say that the bed was the most comfortable I slept in during my vacation of 5 countries. Khalifa organised a taxi for us and offered to assist with any tours. The hotel is located in Giza and some people might not like the area, but we found the people very authentic, friendly and kind. I would recommend Jasmine Pyramids Hotel to all down to earth people. Eating out was limited. There were two all you can eat buffets down the street which were popular with tourists, and we enjoyed the food on offer and the welcoming staff.

This hotel is so lovely! Very clean and luxurious, the rooms were large and had aircon to keep them cool. It is in good proximity to the Giza pyramids. The staff were lovely and so helpful. They offered day tour packages but did not pressure.

SwitzerlandIt’s modern, spacious and clean rooms/ bathrooms, Netflix on TV (so good for the evenings), great AC. If you’re looking for great quality and convenience right next to Giza pyramids then this is it. It’s also right beside the luxury Marriott/Mena Hotel, so you can walk there for dinner as well. The surrounding neighbourhood might seem run down, but that’s Cairo for you. Once you’re inside the building, it’s a different world. Super comfortable, clean, quality, comfortable. Good breakfasts with actual local and tasty breakfast options. Very helpful staff. We organised our tours through them and they went smoothly, with knowledgeable and passionate guides.

United KingdomHad a wonderful experience at this hotel. Firstly, the assistance rendered by the staff was commendable as they facilitated us throughout. We reached the hotel early morning which was a few hours before our designated check in time. However despite limited availability, Ahmed made an exception for us and provided a room. Each member of the staff was very cordial and cooperative whether it was about getting currency exchanged or ordering a late night food delivery. They made our stay truly memorable. With regards to proximity, the hotel is a stones throw away from the pyramids which makes its location quite ideal. One can also find general stores/shops close by. Would like to give a shout out to Amir as well who was very approachable and responsive via what’s app. Lastly, I’d like to make special mention of our two day trip organised by the hotel which covered the main landmarks in both Giza and Cairo. Not only was this tour reasonably priced but Amir was very flexible while finalising the itinerary and also customised it a bit for us according to our convenience. Special shout out to Mohammad (our tour guide) who was very knowledgeable and ensured that we had a great time during our tour. Overall double thumbs up to Jasmine Pyramid for leaving a remarkable impression and we look forward to our next stay here
