Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

South AfricaFrom the moment I walked through the doors, I was captivated by the sheer elegance and charm of the modern interior design which sets the hotel apart from others in the area. The hotel's cleanliness was immaculate, reflecting a commitment to maintaining a pristine and inviting environment. In terms of comfort, the hotel excelled in every aspect and the rooms were spacious and contained all amenities needed to ensure a great stay. Whether it was providing valuable local recommendations, arranging transportation, or promptly addressing any inquiries, the staff were remarkable at attending to my needs.

United StatesAside from it being close to the Pyramids there's not much around the area and it's not the best area around the hotel.
The hotel was nice and clean with good accommodating staff.

NetherlandsAlthough the staff is very friendly, they do not always keep their promise. They promised to get me carry-on breakfast at 4 Am in the morning upon check-out because I had a plane to catch. They forgot to make the breakfast and had to leave without it and an empty belly.
The hotel smells brand new, and is very comfortable to stay for the night. What I loved most about it is the spacious and very clean room.

NetherlandsStrange smell in the room(but we got used to it), there is no restaurant in the hotel, but close by are fine options or you can order food from a fastfood chain (they deliver to the hotel) Sadly our pyramids tour we booked with the hotel got a bit messed up, our guide was late and didnt come at all eventually, they arranged a new guide who wasnt aware of the tour we booked and seemed a little reluctant....
Super friendly and helpful staff, location close to pyramids, but in a relative quiet area (far from airport 60 min by car) Very pretty building. Staff were so kind even when we arrived super late (delayed flight), when we messed up the safe, to get medication, to advise on where to eat, to get in contact with airline ❤️ I would go there again, great hotel for this price range

South AfricaThe communication via email regarding the booking of our tours prior to our arrival could have been improved. We had to follow up repeatedly. It was however all confirmed on arrival, but we would have appreciated the peace of mind of confirmations sooner. Also note that its not the same tour guide and driver each day. Seems to work on a rotation system with a different guide and different driver each day. Not all guides are equally good, so perhaps a suggestion to chat to Amr about your specific requirements beforehand. We especially enjoyed our time with Emad as a tour guide who really seemed to delight in sharing his knowledge with us. There's a bad plumbing smell that creeps up from the bathroom drains/toilet each day which seems to possibly be an issue in the building as we smelled it outside as well. Upon notifying the hotel about the smell, they sent in cleaners who managed to keep it at bay for a couple of hours. Definitely a suggestion to notify them if the smell creeps up as the cleaners' chemicals make a big difference.
As a family of 4 with 2 kids under 8, we chose the luxury quadruple room and were so very glad that we did. Having spent 6 nights at Jasmine Pyramids, we really appreciated the spaciousness of the room which upon entering, has one room to the left, another to the right and a sharing bathroom in the middle. We loved that we had two seperate rooms in one little unit, which even included an outside courtyard area for the kids to play. The location of the hotel is really fabulous. Its close enough to the pyramids to walk, but also not in the immediate vicinity with all the hustle bustle of tourists, animals and vendors. The hotel is really positioned perfectly, with many great local food places in walking distance. We booked our tours through the hotel as well which made our holiday planning a lot easier. Amr, who manages the hotel's day tours was super helpful, always around and willing to assist when we had last minute changes/requests. The breakfast buffet was good, with a little bit of everything - fruit, eggs, local Egyptian options, cereals, yoghurt. The turkish coffee was our absolute favourite,

The hotel is beautiful! Our stay was everything we hoped for. Everything brand new, great breakfast and killer view to the pyramids. Five days in Cairo couldn’t be better, mostly due to the warming and welcoming people we’ve met. The staff were very helpful and caring since our arrival. A big thank you from Portugal to everyone, and a special shout-out to Amr, whom was tireless with our doubts and needs. Hope we’ll see you again!

GermanyThere was no sign of the Hotel, the pictures of the terrace with views of pyramids is a bit misleading as the terrace belongs to the Elite Hotel and can only be accessed at certain times like after their breakfast hours. Cairo is noisy so best to bring earplugs to muffle the call for prayer, cockerel and dog barking sounds at night. There is construction work around the building, no issue with noise, but unsightly.
Super friendly and helpful staff, close to pyramids, freshly prepared omelette at breakfast and good variety of western and Egyptian breakfast choices, close to Mena House Hotel where we ate a few times. The mattresses were very comfortable. Loved that they could provide a triple room with 3 single beds for our children, that room was also spacious. We were grateful to change our double room with the only window to a dark shaft to another smaller room, but with better ventilation and more natural light.

BrazilIf you want to stay close to the pyramids, I highly recommend staying here! The value is really good, and it's only a few minutes' walk from the pyramids. It's also very convenient if you want to be close to Mena House hotel where I had dinner daily. This is a boutique hotel, which means it's small but very cozy. However, the reason I gave it a rating of 10 is because of the hotel staff - they were absolutely amazing and assisted me with everything I needed. Even though I was traveling alone, I felt very supported by the hotel staff, especially thanks to Abdo, Mohamed, and Amr, who contributed to make my stay in Cairo memorable !
