Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandIt was cold in the room, and the receptionist offered a heater ("I will send it to your room in one minute!"), we did not get it for 5 days... The photos suggesting that breakfast is served onn the roof with the view on pyramids are not true.
Location is excellent, rooms are spacious and clean, staff was kind and helpful, Egyptian breakfast was good. Excursions offered by the hotel are very good, though rather expensive, considering the actual costs (but "Hello, money!" is probably the most usual sound in Cairo).

United StatesEverything! Where so I begin. First, when we landed our driver was not there because the hotel forgot to send him. The manager said he will pay for our return taxi. Of course it was annoying because we landed at midnight and had ro find purnoqn taxi. Then, my room door did not lock. The knob turns making you believe it locks but it doesn't lock and they intentionally did not say anything. When I told the front desk they said maintenance will come fix it while we were out but maintenance never came and they pretended like they didn't know it wasn't fixed. So my belongings were just left unprotected. Then, they moved us next door after i complained again. But, they moved us where construction is going on and they didn't even clean the place before placing us there. The place was filled with dust and dirt. The room was so cold and the hot water literally lasts for 4 minutes which means only 1 person can shower. We were coughing and sneezing non stop from the dust. The manager said he will pay for our return taxi to the airport and pay for our dinner on the last night. When we left in the morning the guy checking us out said the manager never told him that and he will charge us. When we checked out I asked for a receipt and was told they do not have a printer. We were so happy to just get out of that hell hole. This was a horrible experience! I have video of my door not locking but I can only upload pictures.
The location.

United Kingdomunfortunately there were a few problems. the hotel is listed as having both a terrace and restaurant. we were told the terrace was not available and there was no restaurant. the breakfast was very disappointing. very few options, out of date baked goods containing curdled cream inside. seemed like a make shift space for breakfast in the basement of one of the buildings. one of our biggest issues was also the smell in the rooms. There was frankly a strong smell of poo in the room and we heard other people complaining of this too. didn’t seem to be coming from the bathroom as this room actually smelt better then the bedroom. we also found that our room had been entered when we were not present leaving mud covered bath mats and mess in the bathroom bin !
good location to get to attractions. staff were very friendly and helpful, arranging trips and take out food for us since there was no restaurant. regularly kept in contact to ask us how the day trips went. very helpful in arranging free airport transport since we stayed 3 nights. beds were also very comfortable.

United KingdomThe room was small, with no daylight, my shower was cold and worst of all we could not sleep because of a noisy pump which kept switching on and off all night.
The location was very good for the Pyramids and we loved the roof terrace.

United KingdomThe room was very fresh and new with an amazing air con !!! We had been moving around Egypt quite a lot prior to our stay, and this was the perfect hotel to relax and unwind in. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting the pyramids as they are just across the street from this hotel.

AustraliaThere was a misunderstanding with our pick up service at the airport on arrival after waiting around for and hour we had to last minute book transport to the hotel.
The location was perfect. Not too far from our activities. My room was perfect fit for me and my family. Toilet was clean.

United StatesIt was difficult to get to, due to road closures in the area. But this is out of their control.
Absolutely beautiful and clean hotel, inside and outside. Spacious suite, amazing breakfast and very kind staff. Pillows and bed were extremely comfortable. All of the family slept well in the strong air conditioning.

GermanyThe hotel is brand new and the property wasn’t completed during our stay in March. There was no hotel restaurant and sundry store (ordered food through the front desk and it was delivered to our room; hotel provided bottled water daily). There’s also another hotel in the vicinity that you can make lunch or dinner reservations (reserve in advance).
The hotel staff provided superb customer service! - 5 minutes to the Great Pyramids & Pyramids of Giza - Beautiful hotel - Safe & quiet area - Clean rooms - Hotel staff easy to communicate (English speaking) with prior and during our stay (I asked a few questions and they replied promptly). - I requested Egyptian sweets for my daughter’s birthday and they placed it in our room - Great brunch!

United StatesThe power was on and off the entire stay, out for several hours in middle of night and room would quickly heat up. Outdoor pool was closed, indoor pool was not ready for guest use. Wifi was poor
The property was very close to the pyramid entry and rooms were clean and updated
