Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

EgyptNon of the facilities mentioned are available. no restaurant, food is ordered from outside and arrives stone cold & inedible, even though Jimmy told us his mum was the chef. There are no balcony’s in the deluxe rooms, they are covered in glass which is again false advertising, there is no bar, no wifi, no toiletries apart from shampoo. the hotel also operates under another name. The area is awful, when we left (two days early) we where approached outside by two guys asking us if we had checked out, had we left the key, what’s that about, we had already paid our bill for three nights on arrival so no need to ask us, not like we were trying to avoid paying. I wouldn’t even class it as a hotel it’s a B&B, if you do stay here take your own food & drink or order in yourself as that’s all they do, then take in the back putting on plates to make it look like it’s come from the non existent kitchen. If they had just been honest and told us this is how they get the food, fine. To advertise restaurant on the roof & bar is misleading.
The bed and pillows, that is all.

United KingdomWe loved the location right next to the desert. The hotel has a breathtaking view of the pyramids, from the room and the rooftop. The amazing hosts were very accommodating with everything from breakfast and organising our tours. We got to do so much more through them than we anticipated, from visiting the pyramids to a sunrise horse ride in the desert. We felt very happy here and the beds were comfortable too!

United StatesGreat price, but even better hosts, the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, they pointed out the best places to go within the city and even recommended tours and sights for us to go experience. The rooftop of the hotel had great views of the pyramids and offered hookah and food also. The hotel was able to arrange a taxi service to and from the airport as well as throughout different parts of the city. Overall this was a great experience.

United StatesHard to find location for Taxis and Ubers.
Our host Mohammed was great. He was available 24/7 to arrange taxi drop off/pick up, excursions, and he even walked my group to local shops. He’s young and full of energy. The room was great! My view of the pyramid was not so good, however the view from the roof of the hotel was well worth it! The hotel offers food and drinks on the roof, and even hookah. Definitely recommend staying here, but prepare to use landmarks for navigation. It was very hard for Taxis and Uber to find the hotel.

FranceHaving said that: - way over priced food - wifi not working - no hot water in the room - over priced tour compared to local offer Jimmy tried to rip us off while checking out, had to pay extra 1 400 egp and when dialing pin, saw that he mistakenly put 14 000 egp… unlucky error for sure. I guess he didn’t like that we wanted to organise our own excursions with less touristy driven stuff Aéroport shuttle way over price, hotel transfer as well. I understand this is how they make a living but there is a difference between offering hospitality and disguised rip off ! That sums my stay at this place. Don’t recommend expect for the view and the staff other than that you are better off preparing your own excursions !
Great location Pyramid view Very nice staff Nice view Ok accommodation (no hot water that day)

It was amazing to spend a night to Jimmy Pyramids View!!! The reason why I decided to book a room in this hotel was because I wanted to celebrate my wife’s birthday in a unique way. On the rooftop of the hotel I booked a nice dinner watching the wonderful Pyramids’ Light Show. Everything was good. I deeply recommend this hotel.

My son has come back from travelling in Egypt, and says starting his trip at Jimmy’s was the best decision. I was also incredibly impressed with the warmth and hospitality,” Joe says: “The stay here was excellent, with a spectacular view, I and a few others watched the pyramids light up in the night from the balcony. In the morning, a great Egyptian breakfast was provided with homemade bread baked by Jimmy’s mother. Everyone at Jimmy’s Pyramids was incredibly kind and accommodating, arranging a camel and horse back tour to the pyramids, and even inviting me to attend a family party. Wonderful people. I can certainly recommend to future travellers. I long for the time I can visit again, I was beyond happy. Thanks to all at Jimmy’s for a very memorable stay!”

United StatesIt was very noisy at night. We opened the balcony door and couldn’t close it so we got hear all the noises outside all night long. The view from the roof was nice but we couldn’t enjoy our breakfast because of the smell coming from the horse right next to the hotel. Our room was on the fourth floor and the elevator was not working. It took two people to lock the door one pulling and one locking.
It was close to pyramids. The lady who made the breakfast was very kind.
