Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PortugalThe hotel entrance is on a secondary road that was a bit hidden to find at night the first time, and the hotel reception is on the last floor of the building, so you need to take the elevator when you arrive at the address to find the reception.
The view of the pyramids on the terrace is very nice, and the breakfast was good. The room was clean and comfortable for our family (two adults and two kids).

United StatesWe were able to book multiple tours with them and had good time! We were able to go to the pyramids, a day trip to Alexandria and a night time tour of Cairo. The prices were fair and everyone was so kind and considerate. They prioritize us and making sure we had a wonderful experience. We also had the best driver Muhammad!

CroatiaThe room is extremely small even though we booked Deluxe Double Room. The location is great for reaching the pyramids but far from the other things in Cairo. But everything was fine and staff was nice.

United StatesThings the hotel couldn't change--such as the entry from the street area. Inexperienced travelers may be intimidated by this. But if you're going to Cairo you're not an inexperienced traveler.
The owner and the staff were exceptional hosts. Very friendly, very informative and took extra steps to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted. That kind of service is uncommon. Great job! Of course, every place in Cairo seems to say it has a pyramid view. This hotel does and it's direct and unobstructed. Stunning views with a big terrace so you can relax without a crown around you.

ItalyYou can choose the Hotel for the location and for the fact that It Is mentioned on the lonely planet You will discover an oasis in the heart of Giza with a really amazing view of the pyramid and a staff with an amazing attention to the guest. All the people are super friendly and ready to help, they will really feel you at home. They organised the trips from and to the airport, prepared a breakfast box when we had an excursion before breakfast time and were super careful to our needs

HungaryWe chose a room with a view and terrace access but we didnt know that the terrace was open 24hs, so the first night we couldnt get any sleep because people were coming and going and you could hear everything. Fortunately for us, the next morning the hotel Manager Sayed quickly changed us to another room, very silent and that also had a nice view to the pyramids!
Close to the pyramids, amazing view from the terrace and the people from the hotel, specially Sayed and Islam, did everything to make our stay the most enjoyable! They were really kind and helpful. We had to leave at 4.30am for our flight and they surprised us with 2 bags with breakfast on our way out! That definitely saved our day!

ColombiaStay in Giza requires to have a good plan for your trip. It is not an easy place just to go walking around. It is very close to Pyramids and GEM but you will need transportation anyways. Of course the same to move to downtown and airport. That won't be a problem at all if you use uber or a transfer service. In fact, hotel can arrange that for you. They offered the complimentary airport transfer at arrival and it was the best service I had arriving to an unknown country. Hotel is located in a dark diagon in a highest floor of a building. At first sight is intimidating but as soon as you use your transportation and elevator, everything is fine.
Love the terrace just in front of Pyramids. It is stunning. On the other hand, rooms are quite spacious, bathrooms also. Service is impressive, they really care about your stay and anything you need. Breakfast is fine (maybe not the best) but you can have it seeing the 5.000 years old the most impressive jewels of architecture, so, it is quite good at the end.

United KingdomNo negatives
I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel and it was a unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and professional staff. Throughout the stay the staff made sure we had everything we need and was always available when we needed something and were very nice people. The highlight of this hotel was the breathtaking and unique view of the Giza pyramids from the rooftop terrace. Waking up to the sight of these huge pyramids was something I never thought I would do. My room was spacious and impeccably clean. The bed was comfortable and everything was just perfect. The breakfast was perfect it had a wide range of choices and everything was delicious. The quality of the food was amazing as well. The hotel’s location is ideal for tourists, providing easy access to the pyramids and other attractions. Despite being in a busy area, the hotel offers a peaceful environment, allowing guests to relax and have a good time. Overall, I recommend this hotel to everyone as it has everything someone might need and I would be surely coming back to this hotel when I can come back to Egypt. A 10/10 experience.

United KingdomThere was nothing of any substance that I would say I didn't like. If you have a room near the breakfast kitchen, there is some noise in the morning as the team prepare. However, I would say this is did not detract from a peaceful stay and the team aware of this and managed it well
Nothing was too much trouble for the team. Even with a late check-in the receptionist was warm and friendly, very happy to show us the hotel factilities, while recognizing our need to get to bed. Even a slight glitch in paying was sorted out promptly and easily.

HungaryIf you prefer a quiet sleep, though, I’d recommend bringing earplugs, as it can get quite noisy on the terrace starting from sunrise and during breakfast. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work very well.
The view of the pyramids from the rooftop is absolutely stunning, and it's very convenient to get there, even by Uber. The terrace offers a great spot to take in the surroundings. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful with anything you need. There’s also a grocery store nearby, which is very convenient.
