Nothing to be honest - great place for a chilled out stay

Everything a gem of a place at the edge of town - with some great friendly and helpful staff, especially the manager Abdul the perfect host can help with anything and speaks good English. I left my phone in a taxi wanted to report it the next day for insurance, but Abdul managed to find the driver and have him come to the hotel. Where we found the phone down the side of his passenger seat. All in all a great chilled out of the way spot with an incredible view and beach front. Upgraded me to a sea view room on the first day and just got better from then. Lovely light breakfast with fresh made omelette and falafel - great grilled fish available too and pasta not bad either. Especially when the manager makes it for you himself. Would definitely recommend and come again myself.

The hotel is located a little bit out of Dahab centrum which means you’ll either have to walk 30 mins or take a taxi to get there (1€). Not a big deal but still nice to know.

No internet in room, weak shower pressure.

Sweet and cozy place with friendly staff. Walking distance to center is about 25 minutes. Nice breakfast.

There was no hot water in the shower in one room, but the others seemed fine. The rooms are a bit old and need updating. Our pick up driver from Sharm airport was angry at us for his own mistake, which wasn't the best welcome.

The beach chillout area was perfect. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and did a bbq for us and set up a fire by the beach. It was in a quieter place in Dahab, but still a close walk to nearby amenities, which was perfect for us. It was great value for money.

There wasnt anything of importance I didnt like.

Siad - a member of staff - was all smiles and very heart centered - and really wanted me to be ok, so helped as much as he could. Abdul - the owner - was a really decent family man, and I liked him too. Breakfast overlooking the sea. Being able to see the sea and sunrise from my bed. Affordable.

There was no TV in the room, it was not a big problem, but we thought there should be one . Prices of the restaurant are considered high in comparison to similar. Wifi was weak

Everyone was helpful and smiling, and Abdo and mohamed are the best. The hotel restaurant on the beach was exceptional. Room was clean, A/C was good, cattle, mini bar, balcony nice. Breakfast was included and it was perfect.

The shower: water was cold, not coming from the shower head but from the tap, which made bathing difficult.

While we did not have any major issues at all, we can still point out a few areas which need the manager's attention. We were a family of five members including one child and a teenager. The TV in one of our bed did not work during our entire stay despite being flagged. It could have been fixed but I could not be bothered to chase and the great wi-fi reception in our bedroom meant we did not need a TV. Note, however, that the wi-fi reception while excellent at times can also be very poor depending on your location in the hotel. Still, we were able to watch streamed movies where the connection was good. General asethetic and maintainance requires some work. This can easily be fixed and I hope the manager will make the necessary improvements. Cleanliness is one area of focus. Again, this is something which can easily be solved. Bear this in mind if you decide to sit on the beach's sofas. 

Overall, our stay was good with some excellent aspects. This is not the greatest hotel in terms of aesthetics. However, it is if what you are looking for is a friendly and safe environment, close to all amenities, the beach and good value for money. The manager of the hotel, Abdul, is the main strength of the hotel. He has been accommodating for us from begining to end. A very resourceful person, Abdul has organised our trips. The food offered was good, diverse, served in generous portions and prepared at short notice - even late in the evening or early morning. The hotel is quiet and the mattresses were comfortable. The beach is literally across the road. However, it is not a sandy beach. Great for divers though with a beautiful coral reef - you would have to start swimming from the shore. Avoid windy days and do not snorkel too far from the shore as the current can easily take you a 100m from your starting point. It will all depend on your level of diving/snorkelling expertise. So, a good stay. We would go back and we would recommend the place if you are on a budget, a diver, a group of friends or a small family looking to be close to the town center but away from all the noise in a safe environment, in a hotel lead by a very friendly and helpful manager.

The rooms could have been more clean and wouldn't mind a little more maintenance. The bathroom and the showers could use a little upgrade. also the TV and furniture could be upgraded (it's pretty old).

I really enjoyed the food there. It was great, the view on the beach was awesome. I would also like to comment on the staff, they were very friendly and helpful 24/7. The staff used to get out of their way to help you even after working hour (for example, they special opened the kitchen at 2:00 am to prepare a meal for me.

The staff weren't always available and they took my passport from me when I arrived late at 230am in the morning.. and they didn't give it back to me even when I checked out so ended up missing 2 flights as no one was on reception when I checked out.. and they should NEVER take someone's passport (ONLY photocopy)

The room had access to 2 balconies and an ocean view and was spacious and lovely with screens so I could keep the door open for sea breeze as I don't like air con.. the breakfast was also really good with beans, falafel, tahini, salad, and one day they even gave me fruit..
