Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainWe stayed at this hotel in a room with three beds, which was very new and clean. The location is excellent, right in front of the new museum, with a terrace where we had breakfast while enjoying a view of the museum and the pyramids. The service was friendly, and the access areas have an Egyptian-style design. The price was reasonable, and the breakfast was excellent.

United StatesIt would have been nice to have an excerise area. Also the neighborhood is under construction so there is nowhere to walk or jog nearby
The breakfast was EXCELLENT. Our hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The rooms were very nice and clean.

CyprusOn the downside, I can say that the hotel is located near a busy highway, which is in front of the New Museum, and the surrounding area is not very clean. Therefore, I wouldn’t recommend walking around the area; it’s better to take a taxi, which is what we did. These drawbacks were offset by the staff's attitude and the room's amenities. I should also mention that there are no shops or restaurants nearby, so that’s something to consider.
We stayed with our family for 2 nights at the hotel. We really appreciated the attitude of the staff, who treated us like family. Firstly, they immediately offered to pick us up from the airport as part of the 2-night booking package. Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, a driver from the hotel was waiting for us. We didn’t have to pay anything extra. At the reception, we were warmly welcomed, and the room was clean. The hotel has undergone good renovations, and what you see in the photos on Booking.com matches reality. The hotel offers a very good breakfast. They also helped us find a driver for the whole day to take us around the sights. I can say that we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, especially the staff's attention and care.

United KingdomThis area is under development so we didn’t want to spend time outside the hotel which was quite run down but you can easily get an uber anywhere you want to go. Note you can’t walk to the museum from here due to the main roads
Beautiful rooms, lovely staff accessible location, great price close to pyramids and new museum which was absolutely incredible. Delicious local breakfast

CanadaThere are dinner options available, but to be honest, expensive compared to other restaurants. We dined at the hotel our first evening and it was okay, just okay.
This new little hotels is a gem...no pun intended. Huge delicious breakfast served with warm smiles. All staff members are so kind.. Mu, Ahmed, Alia, Talia..sorry if I am leaving anyone out because all were above and beyond. Our biggest challenge is that being a newer property some Uber drivers struggled to find it...Guest House staff got on the phone to help drivers find their way so problem solved! Fairly priced and nicely decorated, quiet for the most part.. busy road running by the GEM but traffic noise not nearly as loud as downtown Cairo. If you want to concentrate on the stunning new museum and Giza Pyramids this is a great spot. Oh, and the nice staff encourage staying hydrated with water at no extra charge.

PolandThe construction of the road and building nearby makes lot of dust everywhere, if you take a breakfast on the terrace everything is dusty.

FranceNothing.
Everything from start to finish was a great experience. The hosts were very nice and will make sure your time here is well spent. The rooftop offers a beautiful view on 2 Pyramids, alongside a rooftop bar. The room was very clean, better than the pictures shown. They even gave us a good bye gift and insisted to take our luggages to the taxi, providing all the information we needed for our Cairo endeavors.

GermanyThe room was specious and clean as well as the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was, as it is usual for hotels, always the same but plentiful and good. It was served on the roof by a very kind and always smiling Daliah who was also taking care of the rooms. She was bringing us the breakfast all the way up to the roof holding the tray on her head. I found it very authentic and exceptional :) The staff was nice and caring. One must bear in mind that this is Cairo and everywhere one goes the surrounding is not always clean, tidy and not all buildings are in a good shape. Most of them are not finished. One must not expect European standards. This was also the case with this building. The building is new and still not finished. The reception is on the 3rd floor and the rooms on the 5th. In between and on the way to the roof there are still construction works going on but during our stay we barely noticed anything given the fact that we were most of the time outside exploring the city and by the time we got back all the workers were already gone. The roof where the breakfast was served was also not completely finished but they should have cared more about the cleanliness. The chairs and the tables were dusty and the floor should have been mopped better. The view from the roof is amazing overseeing the New Museum and Pyramids. There is another thing I'd like to point out. As everywhere in Cairo the traffic is omnipresent. Once the windows are closed the traffic noise is gone. Of course we opened the windows from time to time to get a bit of fresh air but all in all the traffic didn't bother us any further. Cairo is huge, vibrant and loud everywhere one goes. All in all it was good value for money and we had a pleasant stay.
