Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt’s not 5* so don’t expect perfection. Wi-Fi needs improvement. Room carpet is tired, but clean. The fresh omelette for breakfast was delicious, though I think items such as crisps/snacks ought to be replaced by extra fresh food choices.
The location was brilliant. Across the road to the entrance to the pyramids. Great value for money. Staff were so extra friendly. Drivers available for trips to the new grand museum and airports. Restaurants on the doorstep. Loved the rooftop pool with incredible view of pyramids. Sauna was great.

United StatesThey need to change all mattresses. It’s like we sit and sleep on springs. That erases all positive points about the hotel. Breakfast was horrible. There is nothing other than eggs I was about to eat comfortably. Too many bread items. The scissor kept to cut coffee handles by everyone spreading germs. Omelette oils socked in oil.
Good vibe. Egyptian theme in front. Friendly staff. Location is good. Mostly there is a wedding everyday. Shops inside.

United KingdomThe room carpets need updating but they clean. The WiFi isn’t 100%, inputting a code each time was frustrating.
The location to both the pyramids and to the new Grand Egyptian Museum is brilliant. You can walk to the entrance to the pyramids! January was too cold to swim in the pool, but warm enough to sunbath on the roof terrace. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Very reasonable taxi service. Sun roof restaurant gives great food and better WiFi.

United KingdomPools were dirty with insects and other rubbish. Cleaners were cleaning the sun beds but tables were dusty and pools needed a quick clean. Shower was broken and the temperature was temperamental, think they had put it on a timer where it burns you for 10 seconds and freezes you for 5 seconds. Air conditioning was poor. Some of the staff had an attitude and thought they were better than us although, they are working for a pittance. There was some confusion about late check out (although they stated in booking late fee charges, when we asked and gave them the time of leaving, the morning staff were all smiles, stating there would be no fee and didn’t take payment at the time). However, when we were leaving, the manager demanded we pay an expensive late check out fee. They had all surrounded us like hounds, locked the rear doors so we couldn’t leave and were extremely rude. I explained what had happened and that the fee was excessive but he was not interested. He said he doesn’t care about bad reviews and was shouting at us. I told him there was no need to shout and reluctantly paid the $50 (wouldn’t provide receipt). Taxi drivers find it had to find this property so there will be a few wrong turns adding time to your journey. An hour away from Cairo airport but close to the pyramids. Breakfast is basic with eggs, hot drinks you make yourself and other biscuits etc. Asked for brown bread but they stated they had ran out but couldn’t be asked to check. Constantly bombarded by the owners of the shops to visit and buy something. Don’t bother upgrading to a room to see the pyramids, you can see these from the restaurant on the fourth floor and swimming pool. Constant talking and shouting by staff in corridors. Room safe did not give us any confidence in security so had to carry around valuables like passports/money.
Property was in a good location. Good room size, beds were clean although old dusty carpet. Had a mini market, souvenir shop and coffee shop. I appreciate that they let us check in early.

United KingdomThe bathroom was a bit dated but perfectly functional. Some of the cleaning staff were argumentative with each other in front of guests, but for the most part the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive, especially Mohamed. Whilst the WiFi worked it was necessary to get a new code every day which was mildly annoying and it didn't work outside the room. It is a dry country so there was no bar as such but we could buy wine and beer from a small cafe by reception to drink in the room but not in public.
Fabulous location with a view of the pyramids. Breakfast and dinner were buffet style. Not great but perfectly acceptable and very good value at less than £10 per person and eat as much as you like; soup, salad, meat, vegetables and multi-choice desserts. Mohamed the reservations manager was fantastic, he organised all of our trips with private drivers and was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool was great although not heated and there was a spa area in the basement at an extra charge. The room was very comfortable with a large balcony and pyramid view.

NorwayWifi is horrible. There is a 2GB quota and it barely works. If you need a bit of connectivity, just select another hotel. The breakfast could have some fresh options, instead of just eggs and white bread.

JapanBathroom and washbasin! Water everywhere wet. It was so stress! I unnecessary design, useless. Shower isn’t warm, to take lots of time to good temperature. It can’t wait so much, I always 35 degrees water. Very cold. Every night party until morning, soooooo loud. And bad smell of kitchen? Something of barbecue? Smell of smoky charcoal. In front of elevator, vendors. Every day stress for me. I don’t want to buy body milk, but he sell me, expensive. I want to go to my room, so I bought it, it was first night in Egypt, first night at this hotel .
Location! In front of Pyramid.

AustraliaThe impact of Covid and being closed for 2 years has impacted a lot of hotels and tourist sites and amenities in Egypt and they are doing their best efforts to get these places back to the standards pre Covid. We stayed here for the view and this exceeded our expectations.
This hotel has the most amazing view of the pyramids. We went to sleep and woke up with a view of the pyramids from our room. The foyer was a "wow" dressed up with a lot of Egyptian seating, statues and memorabilia copies. Breakfast was served on the roof looking at the pyramids and was sufficient. The room and balconies were clean and large sized and we loved sitting on the balcony gazing at the pyramids. Big pool for teenagers and adults and a smaller shallow pool for small children on the roof. Really lovely cafe serving great meals in the same complex.
