Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Wow where can i start, i suppose i must start by thanking all the staff, mohamed and moses on the front desk couldnt do enough to help they really made me feel welcome and added to my amazing stay. AustraliaRooms were quite small and dated. Rooftop was very cold. Maybe some heaters or blankets would be good.

SwitzerlandWe were staying for 3 days in a beautiful little family and friendly hotel. We are traveling a lot and on our journey we met interesting Hotel stuff, but none was like stuff in Hotel Panorama. Every morning we had beautiful greating and serving from the best, always smiling waiter Hassan, who made our day better every morning. 1st day we had a tour guide from a different company and unfortunately we didn't have so good experience, but 2nd day we asked the hotel if they can organise anything for us and then we met Sameh, the best tour guide in whole Giza and Cairo, who was organised from our great Hotel. We want to say thanks to all of the stuff because they made our first impression of Cairo and Egypt really nice. We would recommend it any time !

TurkeyOne of the best stays I’ve ever had in a long time. Calling the location and the rooftop view of this hotel “perfect” would be an understatement. It is directly facing the pyramids and the rooftop view during breakfast time is spectacular. You might think that this is the best thing about the hotel. But it is definitely not! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They are all so nice and smiling and making sure that you are having the best time during your stay in Egypt and not just while you are checked in! I would like to specially thank Ola, kindest receptionist ever, and Abdul, Hasan Ahmad for their great service. One last note, the breakfast is unbelievably good. Certainly will be back if we’re in Cairo again!

United StatesBed could have been a bit more comfy but everything else was perfect
The staff are incredibly nice. They were excited to show us the property and surrounding area. They are able to arrange tours if you’re interested. The food was DELICIOUS! Typically “hotel food” is not that great but wow- we were impressed. And you just can’t beat the view of the pyramids. Very pleasant stay overall.

United KingdomThe shower didn't drain so kept flooding our room. They were attentive when we told them what happened. The tours are expensive from here.
The staff were so friendly and helpful! The view from the balcony and our room of the pyramids is breath taking. There are some nice touches like free water and we got some free sweets one night too. Would recommend.

NetherlandsThe water and power went of in the hotel for 5 hours but staff did there best to help every one. Take your earplugs (or alcohol) with you to sleep, because the street dogs are barking the whole night and the door/window is not really closed. But because of the view abd the amazing personel i give a 10 :)
The amazing view. It's the first building for the Piramids and Sfinx. The staaf is really great and helps you with everything.

AustraliaThe beds were a little harder than I would normally like but don't let this stop you from staying here. Everything was perfect and the staff made up with their friendly service
Very friendly staff! Everyone went above and beyond for service and making us feel welcomed. The food had incredible flavor, great portion sizes and the rooftop restaurant hands down has the best view of the pyramids. The staff organized a private tour guide while we were there, her name was Sherine and we can not recommend her enough. Sherine was kind and overqualified, the knowledge and love she shared about Egypt was incredible we could not have asked for a better experience and guide for Egyptian history. 100% ask for Sharine if you visit and would like a private guide. They also organized flights accommodation and a private guide for Luxor which was also a fantastic experience. I 100% recommend Panorama view, the staff all exceeded expectations and can not recommend enough.

United KingdomThe WiFi wasn’t working but they said it was because of a problem in the area (also verified by other travellers I met staying in the area). The staff happily let me use their phone hotspots to access internet so it was fine. Also the room wasn’t very soundproof, with mainly noises of people in the corridor and stray dogs barking - but earplugs/earphones helped with that.
Great location with a fantastic view of the pyramids from the rooftop terrace - you can watch the light and sound show from here. My room was in good condition with a comfy bed, and a view of the pyramids. Breakfast was tasty with a lot of options (Egyptian) and very filling. Bottles of water were provided for free (plus some snacks in the room). Finally the staff were excellent, particularly Fuad who helped me organise 3 amazing tours (highly recommend the white desert tour), Ahmed who was my brilliant tour guide for the pyramids, Islam who was the great driver for those tours, and Hassan who always greeted me with a smile at breakfast!

United StatesMy reservation said, "room with a balcony". On my first night I had that room I had reserved. On my second day I was moved to a lower level floor with no balcony. One of the staff came up and showed me the reservation of another guest compared to what mind said. I didn't see the difference in the wording. I ended up staying in the room because he offered other incentives. While in that second room I discovered they had roaches on the floor. I called somebody up and they quickly came and sprayed. Outside there's some entertainment of some sort and they have loud speaker talking outside along with dogs barking all night long. If you want quiet, you better sleep quickly and not be able to wake up.
The location was excellent. I could literally see the monuments in front of me. The staff was pleasant always smiling and helpful Hassan, Adam, Mohamed and dunn buggy guy. The food was very nice and plentiful. This hotel wants to satisfy your needs. If you have a problem they want to try and fix it.

United KingdomToo much hustling from the tour guides who operate in the hotel and hassle you after you eat. Felt under quite a lot of pressure to sign up and pay without being given time to think. Dogs bark ALOT during the night.
Generous and tasty breakfast to fill up for the day. Hassan was particularly helpful! As well as a number of staff. Amazing view from the room (albeit with the rubbish that’s left out in the mornings) but the room is quite basic. Unwelcome surprise left for us in the toilet when we arrived but apart from that it was what we expected; modest, convenient and fairly welcoming :) Communication with the hotel to tell them our flight was delayed wasn’t very clear, but the arranged taxi was waiting for us at the airport :) Thanks for a good stay!

United KingdomAmazing people running it - always polite, smiley, genuine and helpful. Simply happy people - especially waiter from the rooftop restaurant, sorry I don't remember the name. One of the best breakfasts - much more than any other hotel we stayed at, more options, and never ending supply. It almost felt like all inclusive: on many ocassions we were offered hot and cold drinks and snacks. Enjoyed a tour booked through the hotel of course - amazing view, first line to the pyramids little good bye gift after the checkout, which was so nice

Ali Baba, one of the housekeepers also made my stay easier, ensuring i had water in my room and helping me around with my luggage. Overall a great hotel and would definitely recommend!
