Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThey had a little difficulty understanding my food intolerance but were happy to adjust the menu once they understood. Note they do not serve Alcohol but I found on my last evening they were happy to drive to a nearby wine shop and get me a bottle for £10. Note on the Nile boat trip I later realized I had been charged £22 for two glasses of wine!!!!!!
Lovely hotel ,friendly staff and good view. They arranged a great days excursion for me with a good guide.

CanadaI was overcharged for dinner 3x the price of the food. The workers and tour guides are on commission at their preferred stores which is included in the tour. You’re not forced to buy anything but it’s annoying to have to go in and deal with high pressure sales tactics. The items are horrendously priced above fair and market value. There is no maid service the room is always damp and cold the shower is gross with rust and mildew. The surrounding area is a run down ghetto with camel and horse poo everywhere stray dogs and garbage everywhere. Locals will constantly harass you and follow you begging for money. I would not stay near the pyramids if I was to visit again avoid the entire Giza plateau book a hotel in another area. The lobby and pool area is also very unclean floors not washed dust everywhere
The bed is comfortable. The tours are good value compared to booking.com you get the same prices and it’s private. I had a dispute over one of the tours and the management did not hesitate to refund me. The pyramid view is very nice. My guide Moaz with friendly and a great tour guide very knowledgeable

AustraliaThe bathroom was very dated, with a shower curtain, and we had to keep fixing the toilet to make it flush. The bottom bedsheet did not cover the mattress, which didn't have a mattress protector. To use the kettle, you had to unplug the fridge.

RussiaHotel is very friendly. All guys were polite, helped with baggage and resolve any questions. Food is on high level. Hotel is close to Giza Pyramids - 5 min on foot. Hotel suggested us different trips, we chided the one to Saqqara and Dahshur with our wonderful guide Fayda. She actually introduced us to ancient Egypt with its traditions and history! Thanks for all! I highly recommend to take a trip to these places and not rent a car by yourself also due to different traffic and complicated roads.

IrelandHotel is located close to the Pyramids which is a positive, however it it also where camels and donkeys are kept meaning there is a distinct aroma outside. Hotel can book tours and transport for you. This is convenient but very expensive and we had both a good and bad experience with them. I would book my trips externally if visiting again.
It was clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. Great view of the pyramids from the rooftop terrace. While the restaurant does not serve alcohol, the staff were happy to help me source some outside and had no objection to me drinking it in the restaurant.

AustraliaThe building is not completely up to western standards but I think better than most options in the area.
Despite the absolutely amazing view, the delicious breakfast, the comfortable room and the refreshing pool the thing that stands out by a mile about Nun Inn is the sincere staff. Went out of their way to help us on several occasions, never pushing us to take tours or anything else. The crew at the restaurant were so warm and friendly. 5 minutes walk to the pyramid plateau ticket office and entrance, you can easily do it yourself. Watch the sound and light show from the rooftop.
