Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

EgyptWe had the most amazing stay at Pyramids View Inn. As a group of 5, we booked three rooms for two nights. The location is amazing and the views superb, ability to walk to shops and restaurants, breakfast on the rooftop with delicious. The Pyramids View Inn is in no way a 5 star hotel. It is basic accommodation with basic amenities. What it lacks in "class" it makes up for in authenticity and I highly recommend it for people with a sense of adventure wanting a true Egyptian experience close to everything Giza has to offer.

United Stateswe received a room with three small beds instead of one large one that we requested and one of the beds had a large white stain on the bedding. the carpet was also stained and looked unclean.
the staff were very kind and helpful, the location is perfect - basically right in front of the pyramid ticket booth, breakfast was very good, the bathroom was clean with hot water, and the view cannot be beat.

MaltaOnly mild inconvenience was lack of internet on 3rd floor from our room for 2 days until they could get someone to fix the floor's router. Internet was always available in the lobby and on the rooftop. The front desk, Kamel, apologized to us repeatedly for the problem. The property rooms and lobby need a good cleaning.
Spectacular view was 'as promised' over-looking the pyramids and sphinx. From the rooftop, we watched the Sound and Light show every night. Even better vantage than from the paying customers entering the Sound and Light Show venue! Bottled water and toiletries whenever we requested. The Included breakfast was also exceptional and plenty with coffee, juice, fresh fruit, veggies, rolls, pitas, eggs, falafels, etc. free airport pickup 'as promised' which was a welcome relief as we arrived at 2:30 AM and the driver was waiting as we exited the airport with hotel sign and our name and we were able to check-in immediately despite arriving at 3:30 AM to the hotel. ASir conditioning was functional and worked great. Sleeping was a breeze - not much street noise at night.

United KingdomThe rooms is basic but clean, bathroom small, and the street outside is noisy. The plumbing behind the toilet had a slow leak so the bathroom floor was always slightly wet. If you're on the floor below the rooftop terrace you can hear the chairs on the floor above noisily scraping as they're moved, they need some rubber feet adding! The aircon wouldn't be set below 20C which seemed to be struggling to keep the room cool - it was ok but I would have preferred a bit colder. It's a bit confusing on the roof top terrace as a few adjacent hotels have combined terraces. The Sound and Light show was in Spanish the night we were there which in a sense was a relief as it meant we didn't feel obliged to listen to it all!
You are here for the view. And it is outstanding! You have a picture postcard view from your bed or the rooftop terrace (although please do stay in a Pyramid view room!). It's magical. The hotel is a basic cheerful place, you're staying here for less than you'd be tipping staff at Mena House round the corner, but with a better view! The street below is noisy, with beeping, animals, sirens, calls to prayer, and the Sound and Light show, and the hotel will give you ear plugs if you ask. The entrance to the Pyramid plateau is about 30 yards to the right. The hotel will get you food from a nearby restaurant, the platters aren't as cheap as eating out but they're good sized ($15 for about half a dozen dishes) and it's brought to you on the terrace or in your room. They will also get you beers (some hotels won't). The staff are very friendly and helpful. We got the airport pickup which wasn't free as we only stayed one night, but was probably still worth the premium over Uber etc as the driver knew exactly where to go at the hotel end and no hassle at the airport end finding the car. About 45 mins with good traffic but at bad times it can apparently be 1.5 hours.

IndiaThe room was cosy but we got twin beds when we had requested double beds. The dinner had limited options and the food served was cold. The front desk staff could be more cordial.
The location is the best. The view from the room and from the rooftop could not have been better. It was right next to the pyramid complex with only a street separating the two and view was simply unparalleled. The breakfast spread was good.

AustraliaSecurity could be improved. Door locks were weak. It was exciting to see a safe in the room but unfortunately, it was not bolted in. Internet access could be much better but was on par with other accommodation in Egypt.
Location. Could not have a better view of the Pyramids or Sphinx. Breakfast was great. The room quality was very good for the price.

BrazilMind you that its a quaint family-run place, not a fancy hotel, so go expecting that. We were warned of noise from the street, but soundproofing is good, and we were never bothered.
Incredible location, comfortable rooms with breathtaking views, great value for money, but above all, great hospitality with warm smiles, romantic decoration in our rooms, help with planning, and even travel-packed breakfasts for us to enjoy more of our days.

United KingdomWe had an exceptional stay here, thanks to Kamal and the rest of the staff! Kamal was very attentive in ensuring our needs were met, going above and beyond with assisting us with meals, transport and other bits throughout our stay. Breakfast was superb, especially from the rooftop terrance overlooking the Pyramid complex. Of course, general location and view from our room was outstanding, which attracted us to the property in the first place. However, the hospitality at Pyramid View Inn was the real treat : )

You are just in front of the Sphinx!!!! Location is perfect to have a wonderful view of the pyramids, and walking distance from the entrance not more that 3min . The picking up at the airport is great service that they offered, specially if you arrive in a late flight. Breakfast is huge!!! Very delicious falafel, fruits and coffee. Depends the room that you book you can have the more modern or the basic ones , it has everything you need to enjoy a day and have a good rest!
