Downgrading my room as it was occupied by someone else

Booking.com website states it's a 5 star hotel. The hotel staff is definitely 5 star by character, decent rooms, but the building exterior and entrance is pretty dirty. No swimming pool, no shop within hotel, no dedicated restaurant. 7 storey building houses multiple hotels. Several floor walls don't even have a plaster. So how can it be termed 5 star? This is the second time in about 3 months that a 5 star hotel stated in booking.com is not genuinely 5 star. Not sure who is overselling properties.

Family lives in home. The staff and owner were very good humans. Finding good honest humans in Egypt can be a challenge. They allowed us stay in the evening for about 2.5 hours even though we had checked out during the morning. They made special efforts to provide us a vegetarian breakfast. Thus we felt like home.

The rooms were clean and spacious and the rooms have a wonderful view of the mountain and the pyramids. The breakfast was delicious and beautiful on the terrace. Its location is close to the pyramids and all services are close to it.

Nothing, everything was fine, the staff were very helpful with me, and the room was clean and comfortable.

The place is more than wonderful, nice, very clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were very kind in everything. Its location is close to the pyramids. The breakfast was wonderful on the terrace, which has a beautiful view of the pyramids.

The pictures on the Internet are all lies, actually. The room was very dirty and very messy. The road to the hotel is filled with garbage. Not recommend

It’s not a hotel and most certainly not 5 star! Disgusting building on a super busy noisy road. Filthy entrance to building with filthy elevator to 2nd floor. Room super noisy and basic with nylon sheets and smelly towels. Super noisy couldn’t sleep at all. Breakfast on top floor terrace dirty odd furniture and we weren’t offered anything so left without even trying breakfast
