We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe view is perfect. You can see the Pyramids and the Sphinx from the roof tip terrace. We also had a room with pyramids view from the balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the driver ( he drove safely in the chaotic traffic and helped us in every possible way ). The only bad thing were the beds. The beds are very uncomfortable.

ItalyThe beds/mattresses were both broken, and so was one of the chairs on the balcony. The breakfast is also extremely basic (good if you are looking for something light). Also, not related to the hotel but to the pyramids: beware that they cannot be seen at night (they are not lit).
The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location is good (walking distance to the pyramids). Please note that it's not easy to find on Google Maps - reach out to them and they'll send you the exact location quickly :)

United StatesThe facility is on the second floor so the first floor and first glacé you think “where did I just book?” But once you’re in the place it looks different.
You’re right in front of the pyramids and the entrance. The staff were very helpful and attentive to any of our request. We had iron, tea kettle, more amenities than other places. They arranged a quad ride for us around the pyramids.

ItalyGreat location right in front of the entrance to the pyramids. From the terrace, always accessible to hotel guests, there is a breathtaking view of the pyramids and sphinx. The rooms are spacious and nice, even better than the hotel category and even though that our rooms were on the second floor we could still partially see the pyramids. Very good and plentiful egyptian breakfast. The staff is always very friendly and ready to help us if needed. The manager of the facility helped us to have close rooms with our teens even though the hotel was full, he also helped us organize a Feluca trip which turned out to be much cheaper than the average one offered by the expensive local operators.

ChileBathroom shower was broken and a bit uncomfortable. The rooftop terrace could use remodel as it seemed like there was some construction going on.
Great views to the sphinx and the pyramids! It's right in front of an entrance to the complex so it's super convenient (don't forget to buy tickets online as there was quite a queue). Also the breakfast is included which is nice and quite filling, they bring it to you to your room and then you can go to the rooftop if wanted. Quite basic hotel but was everything we were expecting. Also we got coffee and water in our room which was very nice :)

The view! We stayed in a pyramid view room and we have unobstructed view of pyramids from the room. The hotel is also a minute walk from the ticket office.

EstoniaBe careful even if you take tours through the hotel. If you agree on the price before then, do not pay more after even if they want to. Our story: we took a quadracycle ride in desert (25 eur per person), and after the ride, they wanted to charge us another 25 eur for a guide bike. We did not agree to pay more, and we didn'thave to (it was a tour that was recommended by the hotel). Overall, do not take anything from anyone in that region, even if they say the most beautiful story you have ever heard. Also, be careful with your stuff in pockets.
Very close to Pyramids main gate. 1-2 minutes and you there. Beautiful view from hotel room. Staff was helpful but very slow. Photo is taken from the room.

HungaryOtherwise, the area is quite loud at night and the soundproofing of the windows/terrace is lousy, so I definitely recommend earplugs. We booked 3 nights here saying the location was handy for the pyramids, Saqqara and Dahshur, but in hindsight I wouldn't sleep in Giza for any of them, I'd rather stay in Cairo. The building is undergoing renovation work, and sometimes late at night/evening they were busy hammering away.
In Giza, the hotel's greatest strength is its location right next to the pyramids, next to the Sphinx entrance. From our room we had a partial view of the pyramids, but the wall of the house next door partially blocked it. Perhaps one or two floors up would have been better. The staff are very nice and helpful, especially a young guy who helped me with my Uber order. Breakfast is served in the room, and it's not everyday you have breakfast while looking at the pyramids. The cleanliness was ok and the beds were relatively comfortable.

UkraineDuring our stay some part of the building were still under construction. This didn't affect our stay at all. Just something worth mentioning. Once everything is done I'm sure the price will go up a lot. So use it now.
It is situated literally across the entrance to the pyramids. The view from the terrace is unbeatable. After visiting the terrace you even can skip the pyramids visit. He-he. The staff is super polite and attentive making sure guest feel comfortable.

LatviaFood served on the spot was the same as everywhere, but more expensive and served coldish (to be fair, they did arrange food for us at 11pm, which was very nice of them) Additional prices in the hotel seemed to be a bit higher than average. Breakfast was not at all as on the pictures! Still decent. But other than that all was great! :))
Location was perfect! Right in front is a small barbecue restaurant - serves delicious food in a large amount!! Entrance to Giza pyramids right in front. View was fenomenal! Beds comfortable. Shower good. Heater worked without any issues. All great!

CanadaThe twin mattress by the deck/window unfortunately had no spring left, when you lay down on if you went straight through and slept against the wooden boards below. That being said, we still had a great sleep. 🤷🏼♀️ The one further away from the window seemed in much better shape.
Unbeatable views from your room & private deck. Clean and updated bathrooms. Good AC, nice rooftop deck for watching sunsets behind the pyramids. We even got the choice of having our included breakfast given to us privately in our room! Very accommodating staff/host. We were given a room (not ours) several hours before our check in just to keep us comfortable (we had been travelling since 3am). It was lovely to have the access and be able to catch up on some much needed sleep.

GreeceThe rooftop is not organised. There is no bar just a few tables and chairs. If someone wants to enjoy a night drink or some shisha he has to go to one of the nearby cafes and restaurants. But don't let this stop you from booking this hotel. The rest of the cafes are literally 5 feet away so it's also an opportunity to explore the neighborhood.
The location is the best. The hotel is right opposite the Pyramids complex. Right next to the eastern tickets entry. We witnessed a beautiful sunset as the sun went down between the pyramids and every day we woke next to the ancient giants. You just can't beat that. The rooms were renovated, clean and spacious. Thes stuff was friendly. Overall a good pick for someone who wants to enjoy the view of the pyramids from the comfort of modern and comfortable room.

CanadaThe nonstop street party outside till 1am. They are in a hotel district with tourists who are on different timezones and sleep patterns. These people outside care not one bit, will blast their music till 1am, shouting at each other from 6am as they setup the next day, then hassle you the next morning as soon as you leave your hotel offering you taxi rides or sell you goods. A little mutual respect if they want to earn your business. Otherwise excellent location and would highly recommend
At the ticket entrance of the pyramids with amazing room. I had room 402 on the top floor which they said had best views. You can watch the evening light & sound show from the privacy of your room. Breakfast served in room. They arranged Dahshur/Saqqara tour for $30 and Airport drop off for $15. Not all staff speak good english but the owners are quite fluent. Get to watch sunset over the sphinx and morning sunrise over pyramids. Great two nights stay. Highly recommend.
