Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

DenmarkThe area - absolutely nothing to do.
For a short stay this hotel offers excellent value for money. The only minus is the area. Here is absolutely nothing, so you are stuck in the hotel. No retsaurants, no shops etc. But surely we would stay here again if only for one or two nights. Heres i a wonderfull rooftop with the view to the pyramids, very clean, and very very nice brakfast. The hotel arrange excursions and airport transfers at very competitive rates with short notice. The staff is over the target, helpfull and extremely friendly. We booked a room with the balcony and we really had a wonderful time here. But more than two night (if not having the days full of sightseing) would be to much. We can only recommend this hotel..

UgandaThe pressure of the water in the shower wasn't great. They cleaned the rooms, but only when requested.
The breakfast was delicious. The little pool was great for small kids. Beautiful view from the rooftop restaurant. The rooms were a good size and I liked the little balcony. Price was great in comparison to other options.

NorwayAs other guests have said, the location is a bit remote. No cafés, restaurants or shops. Doesn't really matter if you just want a nice place near the pyramids and you can use Uber.( I went for a walk in the evening and stumbled across an engagement party which I got invited to. Spent the evening with lovely Egyptians and ate my dinner with them. Nothing like Egyptian hospitality!) One little suggestion, not really a complaint.....My booking included early and late check out and 10% off food and drink. However, the receptionist called me at 12pm and said it was time to check out. I explained that I had already paid for late check out but he didn't seem to understand me and said I had to pay more. In the end, he said "OK, you can have it for free." So I suggest you discuss the terms and double check when guests check in so you avoid confusion and stress. Also, as an international hotel, the level of English from some staff members needs to be better. I speak a little Arabic and that helps, but for other guests it would be helpful to improve the English. I'm an English teacher, so I can offer you a course some time for free accommodation. 😀 Finally, please don't pressurise guests to give you a review score of 10. It's not nice. Just ask them to give you a favorable review if they're happy. All in all, I'm very happy with this place.
The staff is very kind and helpful, always eager to please and service was prompt. The bed is super comfortable, which is important for me and the room is lovely and big with good AC, a fridge and kettle. I was really comfortable and the bathroom and shower were nice. Nice food at the restaurant. Love the rooftop terrace and pool and the breakfast is amazing, served with a smile. I would definitely stay here again.

HungaryThe location is somewhat remote so if you would like to be in the centre or closer to restaurants and shops this might not be the right hotel for you. Lunch and dinner in the hotel are mainly pizza, pasta and some meat dishes. Not catering very well for vegetarians.
Amazing view from the location looking at the Great Pyramids of Giza. If that is your main interest and would like a budget friendly hotel this is definitely the right place to go to. The staff was nice and helpful. I would recommend using über if you want to go anywhere from the hotel. Breakfast provided by the hotel is nice and you can have it anytime between 8am and 5pm. Rooftop is usually quiet so you can enjoy the pool and the view in peace. Rooms are very spacious.

BelgiumExcursions booked through hotel are overpriced, plus guide and driver showed up 1 hour late. Issue with the pool, which was in maintenance when we wanted to use it in the afternoon after a hot morning. But this was I guess exceptional.
Good location in a closed (yet unfinished) compound, 15' drive from Gyza Pyramids. Beautiful view from the rooftop on the Pyramids. Very good and extensive breakfast. Kitchen and pool open very late. Spatious and cool rooms.

SpainWifi does not work, neither did mobile data in the rooms most of the time. Prices of the restaurant were very very expensive, but the food was good. The bedsheets didn’t seem very fresh but I cannot say for certain that they were not changed from the previous guest.

IrelandThe pool is very shallow and quite small, but it meets purpose of a good dipping pool to cool off. Very clean too and the view of the pyramids while having breakfast was amazing.
The breakfast was fantastic, hats off to the chef. Best omelette!! The staff were great, especially Islam, Mahmoud and Khalid. The owner Samman was very helpful, arranging driver to collect both me and my cousin. The beds are so comfortable and the rooms very clean and modern.

United KingdomThe air conditioner didnt work properly, it is more like a fan. The location is in the middle of nowhere, you will need a transport to go anywhere, you need UBER app. Thanks that i read the reviews I knew that the charge a big amount if you pay by card, so do it by cash. And the restaurant charges a lot for service.
Big bedroom, big toilet, very clean. Great views of the pyramids from the roof. It has a swimming pool (very small, but enough for refreshing), big breakfast. Very quiet area and very safe.
