Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe pick-up fare from the airport is a little high for Egyptian standards. We got a taxi on our own back to the airport and it was less than half the price.
Very clean and cozy rooms. It was quiet and we got a good night sleep. The food was great, maybe a bit pricy. The view from the rooftop is absolutely breathtaking. Everything was exactly as advertised on the pictures. Staff very nice and helpful.

United StatesNot ideal for light sleepers, the area is very busy with lots of noise throughout the night.
Great location and friendly staff. We had a fantastic tour arranged for us by the hotel and the communication with the property was very quick and responsive. Waking up to the view of the pyramids was magical!

United KingdomThe view I thought I would get and the actual were different, I had to go on the balcony to see the pyramid rather than see it from the bathroom as I thought I was getting. If you don’t like being near a stable and all that comes with that, perhaps not for you
Great location! The view during breakfast was amazing. The staff were warm and friendly which is helpful when you are a foreigner in a new country and city

DenmarkThe hotel is really nice and cozy, and the staff is very helpful if you need anything, and the owners Anna and Mohamed is very good people. I would recommend this hotel to people around me, if they had to travel to Egypt. And the view from the rooftop is amazing, seeing the pyramids so close, feels surreal.

United Arab EmiratesThe hotel itself is situated in an area of Giza that is quite run down, so you won't be doing much strolling in the vicinity.
You'll get an amazing view of the Pyramids from the rooftop, and from your room too. The staff is so kind and helpful, will make you feel right at home. Cleanliness was also on point!

United KingdomIt would have been great for the water heater to be left on as we had paid for the room with the bathtub and was only there for one night. The aircon was a bit noise and could do with a small tune for a quieter night sleep.
Property was brilliantly located and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast included was really really lovely. Thought it would be a bit meh considering the price we paid but it was great! The hotel hooked us up with a tour guy for the day who’s English was excellent and took us on a brilliant tour including to the most amazing perfume manufacturers which was a pleasant surprise! It was amazing being able to watch the sunset over the pyramids and the sphinx from our hotel room in the morning.

GermanyUnfortunately the WiFi didn't work in our room, but only in the lobby and on the rooftop.
The lunch and dinner was amazing with the best view on the rooftop to see the Giza Pyramids in relatively close distance. The included breakfast was good but nothing special. The employees were always friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThey got the room we booked mixed up when we checked-in but subsequently they corrected it. The wifi connectivity was not that great at times. But each time when we informed, they fixed it for us.
Jimmy, Anna and the staff were very helpful. Anna was in touch with us since we booked the holiday and helped us to plan and organise all our excursions. The breakfast was decent and the falafels were amazing. The rooftop had the view of the pyramids and the sunset was breath taking. It was a perfect place to winddown after a full day of events.

United KingdomAbsolutely amazing stay. We had a suite with a much ‘mountain view’ and could see the pyramids from our bed. The roof terrace really made the trip and we paid for several Egyptian teas and homemade lemonade. We opted for breakfast and ‘mamma Jimmy’ cooked us a fantastic Egyptian breakfast each morning and a slice of cake on the final day. Everyone in the hotel was so accommodating and would do anything to assist us with our stay. The hotel was in a prime location and really easy to get Ubers. We did some guided tours through the hotel and had Tito as a guide. We did a Giza, Cairo and Alexandria tour which included several places, private driver(in an air conditioned car) and a private English speaking guide. Tito was amazing and had so much knowledge to give. We throughly enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend.

AustraliaWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Giza, it's a family run hotel, and they do whatever it takes to make you happy. We had a few issues with the internet and it was resolved instantly, the first night there was a mix up with our rooms, the next day it was resolved, we were provided with an upgrade to two lovely rooms with outstanding pyramid views. The decor is really nice, Egyptian themed, the beds extremely comfortable. The staff all speak English so no issues, we had a beautiful breakfast made especially by the owners mother, a lovely Egyptian lady who made incredible Falafels. We were also provided with a free tour of the pyramids and Sphinx and Bazzar because of the mix up with our rooms the previous day.. it was a great tour, out tour guide was a lovely English speaking Egyptian lady in a private car who gave us history of everything we were about to see. I would highly recommend this hotel.

AustraliaI can’t say how nice it was to come here to Egypt and not have to think. With Jimmy Pyramids, you don’t just get a stay in a great hotel, but you get the full experience. I’m talking the family vibe, the authenticity, the home-cooked traditional dishes (amazing btw) up on their rooftop, the regular check-ins to see if I’m ok, the organised tours, the organised drivers whenever I want. Everything. Not to mention the view of the pyramids to wake up to! It is exactly what I wanted and I will be recommending Jimmy Pyramids to everyone that I speak to. Thank you for everything Jimmy family!
