Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Arab EmiratesI’m not sure what the 5-star standards are in Egypt, but based on our experience, I would rate this hotel more as a 4-star. The biggest issue was the water quality, the shower water was visibly dirty, with traces of mud coming out, which was disappointing.
The location is excellent, very close to the Pyramids and the new Grand Egyptian Museum. We were also attending a music festival nearby, and the hotel’s proximity made it very convenient for us.

United KingdomPool area nice but not pristine. Main road right outside. Not noisy in the room, but slightly detracts from the pyramids view from the balcony.
Lovely room, comfy bed and good bathroom. Bar food was also great and a good price.

SwitzerlandUnfortunately, we had a terrible experience with Dina, the guest relations officer. As our mini fridge in the room was not working, the hotel offered to store our medicines and in their cooler. Upon checkout, when we asked for the medicines, the receptionist could initially not understand what we were asking for. This is when Dina stepped in. Once she understood what we were asking for, , it took the staff more than 20 minutes to find the medicines, leaving us in total distress during that time. Not a word of apology or comforting from this lady, in fact she was very smug and borderline rude.
The location and proximity to the Pyramids and GEM, as well as the view from the room. The breakfast and restaurant crew were very kind.

CanadaWhat didn’t I like about the property well for starters the air conditioning my room did not work from day one I asked numerous times for it to be fixed, but all they did is fiddle around with it in and out of my room 1 million times and nothing really changed so I just had to learn to live with it. The food that they provided at the hotel was very subpar. It was the same thing recycle day after day and there’s not a lot of choices around the hotel. Nothing within walking distance so you have to take a cab everywhere you go, and if you haven’t been to Egypt before, it is very difficult to do that. And the hotel just needs to be updated if it’s a very old decoration and style.
The location was good and the staff were extremely friendly well most of them

United Arab EmiratesThe facilities were poor, no gym etc. Also they couldn't give a multi plug asked me to purchase it. Later after complaint to duty manager I managed to get a multiplig with his intervention. The facilities were not to 5 star standard.

United KingdomI booked this hotel because I attended a powerlifting World Cup competition and didn’t find any problems with the venue.
The hotel was great the staff maid the stay specifically front of house , the dinning team who always had a smile and were helpful , the chefs also came out and had a smile and the food was very good everyday with a great selection including from around the Middle East. The pool side rooms had an impressive Pyramids view . The pool was always kept clean and rooms were always well stocked with water each day and the fridge in room was good also .

United KingdomOur only downside was we booked a couple of things with external travel company they use, which was astronomically expensive, so felt a bit cheated here. I would source my own next time.
A really lovely hotel in a great location. 10/10 for their wonderful customer service especially Manar & Deena who went out of there way to ensure we had a great stay. Bedroom very comfortable, good showers and stunning views of the pyramids. Hotel opposite the GEM, if you can brave the Egyptian roads you can just walk across!! Would definitely stay here again.

CroatiaI thought this was an old hotel since it looks and feels somewhat dated. Then I found out that it is only 6y open which was very surprising. Also pyramids were visible from balcony but vaguely through the fog from nearby road.
Staff was helpful, welcoming and friendly. Plenty options for breakfast. It is close to pyramids, but not walking distance.

United KingdomThey could do with a coffee machine in the breakfast area so that we could help ourselves as sometimes we were waiting a while until someone served us coffee or tea.
A spacious room with a balcony and great views to the pool and the pyramids. It was lovely watching the sunrise and sit outside in the evenings admiring the view. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcomed. Special mention to Carima and Ahmed from the housekeeping team who made a special effort to make our room lovely and comfortable.

CanadaThe lighting in the bathroom was a bit dim.
It's right across the street from the new G.E.M. museum. You can have a view of the pyramids from your room. The beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are well appointed. It is starting to show its age but is well maintained. There is a decent restaurant on site and a lovely pool area. There is also an elevator.
