The only bad thing about a place like this is that you will hate leaving both the nice beds and the super friendly and helpfull staff.

If there was such a thing as a 5 star hostel, this would be it. Its the Hilton of hostels. From the clean rooms, to the toilets and showers. The unik beds, wich have stairs instead of ladders, so no climbing. To the amazingly friendly staff. The breakfast is amazing. This is a place to both remember and miss. I will definetly be back here when in Cairo. Sure there is a city wide blackout between 15 and 16, but since this is on the first floor, it really is just a minor thing, and because its in the middle of the day. The chances of you even experiencing it is very small.

The location of the hotel is in a perfect spot. It is right next to the Egyptian Museum, within taxi distance to Zamalek and Giza. You feel like you are in the center of the city. It is really interesting that it is quiet even though it is right next to the busy traffic of Cairo. The hotel staff were all very friendly. We asked for some suggestions for food and souvenirs and we were really pleased with the places they recommended. The breakfast, cleanliness and comfort level is quite sufficient. the attitude of the guests in the hotel towards each other was also very friendly. you can make a lot of new friends. If you go to Cairo, you can definitely choose it.

Excellent location, right in Tahrir square. Staff are very helpful and nice. Dorm beds good and clean. Common toilets/showers good. Good value for backpackers.

A sign of the hostel is needed outside the building because its hard to find the entrance.

The location.. you will be in the main square of Cairo downtonw just 2 minutes walk from the egyptian museum, the metro lines and the main spots to visit in the city. The hostel is very clean and the breakfast included is excelent. The staff is very friendly and helpfull.

Nothing about the hostel but only the electricity which shut down daily from 3:00 to 4:00 pm which is beyond their control.

Very accessible to all. Located at the center of Tahrir and few steps away from the Egyptian Museum Cairo. Clean room with balcony and organized. Nice breakfast and really worth the amount paid. This is one of the hostels I really like and Loly was really kind and accommodating to everyone. All the staffs are friendly. Will definitely book the same hostel in my next visit to Cairo. Cheers!

best location! All the staffs are kindly and friendly! I got some trouble with my luggage the first day in Cairo, staffs here helped me a lot! They offer free fruit juice sometimes, we chat together happily, feels just like old friends:)

I have the one complaint.... Everyone else in Hostal & Hotel business, Needs to Aspire, to Tahrir Square Hostal, boutique standard!! How can You beat, Splendid?

Tahrir Square Hostal, puts to Shame, Many of the 5* Hotels. Personal, personable and warm. Everything worked better than new. I will only come here, in future visits. Lula(Walla'a), Dua'a & Ibrahim... Ambassadors... Not staff.... Ambassadors. A great Pleasure to be here. Lamia makes a delicious and Nutritious breakfast, for You. Not Pre-made, just made now, for You!!

The location is perfect. It’s very central to the city and right next to the metro, which makes it easy to reach all of the sights. Dua and the entire staff were super helpful, always available to answer all of my questions. The breakfast was nice as well. Highly recommend this place.
