Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GreeceThe room needed some maintainance work. Also there was a small desk to keep our staff, which was not sufficient, since there wasnt any space in the bathroom either.
We had a good view of the pyramids from our balcony, but the balcony was not welcoming to sit and enjoy it. The view from the terrace/ restaurant of the hotel was absolutely amazing! The breakfast was perfect! The girl serving the breakfast was very kind and welcoming! The location of the hotel was good because it is right at the end of the road and there is not much noise from outside. The room was clean.

United KingdomIt is true that the tables get moved around on the rooftop restaurant upstairs approx 11pm and 7am so sleep can be a struggle if you forget ear plugs, didn't bother us too much though. It's also true they will try to sell you tour for an expensive price, we did fine just going it alone through the sphinx entrance and paying online government website prices (egy monuments). Breakfast was OK at best but again worth it for the views.
Views are why you come here, forget everything else you may expect. Bath tub is indeed a jacuzzi with air pressure and hot water, took a little time to fill but worked twice in a row. The bed was large, as were the pillows, bedsheets a little bitty from lots of washes but otherwise sleep was fine, air con worked great. Hotel handled electrics going out across the whole of Giza really well and was fixed by government in a matter of 2 hours. We were helped with bags up 3 flights of stairs to Sphinx Suite room (King Suite with Jacuzzi)

ArgentinaTo start, the common areas and the room were not clean. The quality of the food is not good and the price is high according to the quality they offer. The first night we were assigned to a room that had problems with the toilet flush and the noise was simply annoying. We could not sleep at all. Luckily, they changed us into another room the next morning: point to the receptionist that manage with this. The night receptionists listen to music and talk super loud, we had to contact them 2 of the 3 nights we spent there to ask them to stop screaming and put the volume a bit lower (It was about midnight) Again, we put an 8 if we consider the relationship between the price we paid and quality.
Good relationship between price and quality. There is a lot to improve, but according to the price we paid per night the score is 8. The view from the terrace is so beautiful!

United StatesBathrooms were very small. Desk workers were pushy about scheduling an excursion to see the sites and we booked one I thought the charges were expensive. Extra hidden fees for the room that you don't know about until checking in to the hotel.

SloveniaThe rooms are basic, the bed is not very comfortable and the bathroom could be nicer. The internet almost never works.
The hotel has the best view on the Pyramids and Sphinx for sure…Just amazing having breakfast on the rooftop observing the pyramids. The waiters are kind and the food, cocktails are really good. The driver Yasser is a very nice guy, waiting for our delayed flight for 2 hours and telling us many interesting facts about Egypt already on our way from the airport. The receptionist Mira is such a kind girl, she organised beautiful 2 days sightseeing trip for us. If you want great photos with the pyramids book a tour guide Adel and if you want an amazing lecture on Egiptology and a real authentic experience of the city, book a guide named Mahmud.
