The facility was very tidy, and even though it was a dormitory, a certain amount of privacy was protected It was so nice that the surroundings had a lot of infrastructure and the air conditioner was constantly running There are many scams targeting foreigners in Cairo While I was about to be scammed, an employee, Kelly Reid, came and helped me Thanks again to him.

The kitchen can be kept cleaner and the corridor is dirty as the hostel is sharing apartment with other units. The lift can also take awhile.

The place was very central in Cairo and easy access to Tahrir, I got even an upgrade due overbooking, the room were spacious with adequate facilities, good prices as well.

The building looks pretty much abandoned, the lift looks like you're risking your life every time you get in. The room, although big, has way too many beds. I asked for a double not a cuadruple, so there's not much room for nothing else. There was a whole family next door one night and it was super noisy. Also windows are very old and don't keep any noise out, so get ready to be waken up by the very loud pray call. The balcony was very dirty and had no seats and the bathroom stunk badly of sewage.

Good location, breakfast was decent and staff were nice and accommodating.

The view from the top was not so good, surrounding building run down. But the room was good.

The staff were really good. Downtown Cairo is very lively and a bit of a culture shock for anybody not used to it, but was enjoyable stay. The staff were the best.

Room really noisy due to the traffic in the street. Bathroom uncomfortable (no proper shower box, we needed to make wet floor and wc to shower then try to dry it with a mop). External areas (stairs and halls) really dirty. Breakfast poor

Every thing, very nice and welcoming people, make you feel cared for. The room is big and spacious and the breakfast is delicious. They also let us leave our luggage there both before and after our stay. Super nice guys!

the stairway and halls were a bit dirty, but the reception area and rooms felt clean if you have a room backing onto the street it can be noisy from the traffic, but this may be hard to avoid in central Cairo

the hosts were incredibly helpful- they talked us through a plan for our time in Egypt and helped with any other questions we had great breakfast- it filled us up for most of the day good location comfortable beds great view from the room

There was quite a lot of noise coming from the other rooms since early in the morning.

We asked for a double room for me and my boyfriend and they ended up giving us a room with three beds, which was not necessary. But the bed was comfortable and people were very helpful.

they messed up our booking but then gave us a discount - I wouldn’t recommend the cruise tour because it’s not worth the money, the food there is not that good

The first room we stayed on was full of chlorine smell which was irritant. The sheets in the first room were not clean, but they responded when we asked to change the room. The building and stairs are full of cats’ poop. The place was not really well equipped even with the basics like towels and footwear we had to ask for it.
