Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. The view of the Pyramids from the room was absolutely stunning it’s something you don’t get to experience every day. Waking up to such a spectacular sight made the trip even more special. The service was also exceptional. The staff were incredibly polite, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Everything ran smoothly, and we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Cairo. The combination of the breathtaking view and outstanding service made it an unforgettable experience

Our stay at the hotel was truly unforgettable. One of the absolute highlights was the incredible view from our room we could see the majestic Pyramids right from our window! Waking up to that view every morning was something out of a dream. The sight was not only breathtaking during the day, but also magical at sunset and even more so when the pyramids lit up at night. The room itself was comfortable and clean, but the view made it exceptional. It added a special touch to our whole experience in Cairo. If you're planning a trip and want something truly memorable, I highly recommend choosing a room with a pyramid view it's worth every penny. This hotel is a perfect choice for anyone looking to combine comfort with one of the most iconic views in the world. We'll definitely be coming back!

There was no hot water for about 20 minutes, but when I informed them, they quickly fixed the issue. Ahmed, the owner, was very friendly and always made me feel safe and well taken care of.
The rooms were absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how spacious and well designed they were. The decor was modern and stylish, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the attention to detail was noticeable in every corner. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep every night. The rooms were also well-equipped with all the necessary amenities to make our stay as convenient as possible. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for better accommodations, and it really made our trip special

The view of the pyramid from the room was incredible and the attention of the staff as well. They helped us all time and arranged some tours for us with private transfer. Do not be afraid of the neighbour. The hotel is safe

This is not really a hotel.
This is not really a hotel. It is a converted apartment on the 6th floor of an old block of apartments. It has 3 bedrooms and a small reception, but no communal areas. Breakfast is microwaved and served on a tray in the bedroom. I stayed alone in a 4 bed room, which was spacious for me and would have been acceptable for 4. There was a dining table which would sit 4. The manager arranged an excellent car and driver for 3 days of tours, which was really helpful.
